Indian Village — Local services in Saint Ignace

Bought a knife from this store. The lady is right, maybe I shouldn't have, because I gave them business. She acted like a rude prat, while most likely labeling a Michigan Native as a tourist in her mind. Not only Native, but Native AMERICAN.

I was looking at knives, decided to buy one, and the lady who was handling the knife went to get it from stock. She said it wasn't the same knife. I said "Oh, it's not the same knife." and the other idiot said "It is the same knife. If you can't tell that maybe you shouldn't be buying a knife."

Imagine the stupidity in that statement, when it was literally what her own employee said. I wasn't even looking at the knife.

I laughed like it was a joke, but I don't think she was joking. I tell you one thing, she was a joke. She was also rude to my girlfriend.

Here's some advice: Get a grip. If you're that stupid maybe you shouldn't be criticizing people. Get your ears checked.

I would leave no stars if I could. Today I went to visit Indian Village in Saint Ignace. I’ve been going there since I was a child so I was looking forward to it. I have a medical alert service dog. My dog is always vested. The law does not require that a service dog have a vest. I walk into the store and a woman, from quite a distance away instead of approaching me, asked me if it’s a service dog. I say yes and continued to walk into the store.She says “does it have a vest on” I said yes she does and showed her. I always try to use these moments as a teaching moment. My husband and I were in the store when the lady that wrote the bad review below came back in. The store people were right, and they acted respectful, despite the female customer cursing at them over a $4 ring that the child changed his mind on. After dropping several "F" bombs at the employees, in front of here children, and us, her final response as she headed out the door was this : "I make $100,000 a year and I don't give a "F" about your $4 toy, "F" you all, I will take this to social media". Apparently she has done so, but Indian Village was not to blame here, she should have just purchased the additional $4 toy and just taken her children to their next stop.
