I've always loved this place! However it's crazy how one situation can ruin your love of a store! I shop here ALL THE TIME and was working on checking out towards closing today. I make my way to the register and notice a pretty new face that I'd only seen one other time. So I assumed she was new and went to get in the other line of the lady that I have seen there several times both upfront and in the pharmacy. I decided to go in the other line thinking that I would make it easier on the new lady since I had items that I needed price matched and I had never done that before. As soon as I get to the other line the lady that's been there a while says to me "I'm not open, you'll have to check out over there." Which was no big deal but I proceeded to ask her if the lady was new and if she could price match. She then says "it doesn't matter if she's new, there's lots of new faces here. I will help her!" At this point I'm fed up with her attitude (she was hateful from the moment I spoke to her) and the way she's speaking to me but I continue to bite my tongue. She then asks "what do you need Price matched?" I stated "everything in the cart is cart is cheaper on your website." I had some nerf guns and nerf bullets that I was purchasing for needy children at the Noyes home. She then says "OOHHHH NO, we're not doing this....you can only Price match one of each different item!" I mean she acted as if I had done this before and assumed I knew the policy! So I said "how come I can do it online?" I had tried to order the stuff online before going out to Target before closing time. However the website was saying one of the items I wanted was out of stock. That's when I called this Target to ask if they had any of the items. She kept explaining that is was policy while looking at me as if I were an idiot! Then snatches my cart and said "do you still want to purchase these or not?" I said "I guess not and told her that it was silly that I could do it online but not in the store. She then continues to say stuff like "its policy and have a great night" as I walk off. She knew I was irritated with her and continued to rub it in my face! These items were not that big of a deal to me. I have money and I could've bought them without price matching , but at that point I was so fed up with her customer service skills that lacked from the start that I was now so worked up that I was livid!!đĄ I mean her attitude totally ruined my love of shopping at Target. I've been worked up since it happened! I called corporate and everything! What's crazy is that this woman is usually very pleasant and I get that it's the holidays and was near closing time but that is NO excuse to talk to "a guest" like that! Very unprofessional and I think it's ruined me ever wanting to return. Now unfortunately my story will get around and put a bad taste in others mouths. I just think Target needs to retrain her or make her understand that her hatefulness was inappropriate! I'm a nurse and I would NEVER speak to a patient that way!    Read moreWas just here a bit ago with my family and had a terrible experience. Apparently self checkout is only limited to under 10 items now. There was only one cashier working with a line of people, and of course the self checkout said closed. This older lady finally walks over and says oh this sign is supposed to be turned around. We decided to self check even though we had 15 times, so only 5 items over the limit. It only took us less than 3 minutes to get it all scanned and started to pay. Then of course this nasty employee had to come over and share her opinion. She said, âfor future reference, this area is only for 10 times or less.â Very rudely. Maybe if they donât want someone to check their 5 extra items, they shouldnât only have one cashier working. And instead of her coming over and having to give her two sense, she should get behind a register and mind her own business. I have worked many jobs that also had a limit on self check, but because the regular lines were so long, my manager asked me to take customers over the limit to get them in and out efficiently. Clearly this lady needs some training on how to provide proper customer service. And donât get me wrong, most customers sucks. But we were very quick and minding our own business, and she has to come over and ruin our shopping experience, right in front of our two little ones. We were âwrongâ for breaking the apparent new rule, but she could have been much friendlier explaining.    Read moreI visit Target frequently and all the employees at this busy St Joe location are very friendly except one, and this is why I am writing this review. Hopefully upper management will see and take note. I have dealt with a Jeaneen on two different occasions at the customer service desk and she clearly does not like her job or is simply a RUDE person! The first incident I had a return and the first employee put my credit on a Target gift card, she was great, very friendly and helpful. When I went to check out and pealed off the sticker for the code it ripped off part of the barcode at check-out. The teenage girl was sweet and tried to help but sent me to customer service. Jeaneen was irritated and basically said there was nothing there could do, got a manager and said well the credits on the card-you just canât use it because you scratched your bar card-call this phone number, not friendly at all. The next day I had a return from a pick up I had done and a few of the items I purchased were incorrect. Jeaneen was unfortunately working customer Service again with her not so pleasant attitude from the start. I had my receipt and everything, as she was doing my return a question came up reason for return and I selected-wrong item- she stated to meâYou know now I have to key on every number!â âJust put changed mind next time!!â WOW!!!
