Michaels — Local services in Saint Joseph

Great experience even with the holiday rush. I stopped by with only 2 days to go until Christmas. The store was busy, but I luckily found a worker who could show me what I was looking for. She wasn't exactly sure, so she called on her radio and got the information she needed. She took me to what I was looking for and made sure I got the help I needed.

The check out process took a while, but it was evident that one lady was having issues with her purchase. She was at 1 register almost the entire time I was in line and only got done after I left. It took 2 people to complete her check out (I presume one was a manager), but they finally got her taken care of right as I was leaving.

Overall a great experience. Nothing negative to say about the store....

Michaels craft store used to be my third favorite after Hobby Lobby and Joann's but they were SO WONDERFUL Saturday when I went in with my sister they are firmly in first place. It was Hot outside and Humid. I came in and was overheated. I was enjoying picking out orange silk mums and my sister said 'you are really red, I think you should sit down and cool off'. I asked a store employee for help and she and a couple other employees got a chair for me and gave me a bottle of cold water. They were all so kind. Always clean and organized. They have all kinds of stuff for all kinds of hobbies. They have a website, and an app period on the app you can get coupons for percentages off. Also when you purchase something you get another coupon good for the next time you run in. You can always find someone to help you and they're always friendly. If the lines get too long they open up more spots. In fact the only time it's been extremely crowded has been Christmas time. I love Michaels and this one rates as one of the...
