I went to dinner last night at this Olive Garden to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Our bill was roughly 84.50. I opted out of paying a tip with my card. I choose zero for gratuity and left our waitress 16.00 cash instead. Honestly this tip was far beyond fair because our appetizer, 3 drinks with no re-fills and... I'll be nice and go as far as to describe the 3 meals as mediocre... End up costing me around 31.58 gratuity?! I'm more than generous just having left the waitress a 16.00 cash tip. Then I check my statement this morning and they apparently also billed me just as much gratuity on my card as well. My bill ended up being 100.08 and add that cash tip of 16.00. Literally took me for around 31.58 dollars in gratuity and that's AFTER I SPECIFICALLY OPTED ZERO TIP ON. THE KIOSK! I honestly doubt I'm the only customer that's gotten taken at this restaurant. I will never recommend this particular Olive Garden, nor will I eat there again. Yes, I will be contacting management later this morning but I think customers need to be aware and use caution when paying by kiosks at this restaurant.
I'm just updating about this experience at The Olive Garden. I was able to speak with the manager today about my experience at dinner last night. This manager, Mike Frazier, is a complete delight to speak to about this whole situation. He was professional and understanding. He gladly took care of the nasty kiosk that apparently decided to misbehave. I'm very pleased with the outcome and the standard of customer service I was given by Mr. Frazier and impressed by the quick response of the restaurant owner who seemed genuine in his apology and eagerness to fix the situation. More than willing to try again if only because the customer service was on point and...
Read morewhat a joke my pregnant girlfriend wanted a nice meal before being induced she ordered steak and ravioli the steak was supposed to be medium and was just seared on the outside and raw inside then the ravioli was so undercooked i would compare it to top ramen fresh out of the package my grilled chicken was actually blackened chicken then when we addressed the issue the manager said that's how the ravioli was supposed to be im sorry but they could take some lessons from chef boyardee when it comes to ravioli they offered to fix it but came off rude about it like we had no reason to complain we would have taken them up on the offer but had to get to the hospital talk about a great memory before the birth of our first born thanks for nothing never going back i feel sorry for the wait staff who did a perfect job just the food and manager were a joke kinda sad that the waiters and waitresses have to deal with the incompetence of others because they really were great they weren't overly assertive and bothersome but appeared at the just right time when you needed them and were extremely polite the experience can only be referred to as a regret other than the...
Read moreUpon arriving at the St. Joseph Location, I fell on their uneven sidewalk, hurting my wrist and knees. since I was with a group we went in for dinner. My daughter approached the manager on duty to inform him I had fell and that it was due to the uneven sidewalk. He never spoke a word to me the entire time we were there. After asking for a business card he approached the table to ask if the food was ok. which the other ladies enjoyed and also the server was very polite. Once on the way home the manager called to speak to my sister then he seemed concerned about the fact that I fell. On Sunday I received a call from the General manager, who I felt was deeply concerned. She was very nice and gave me a little bit of faith in this company. Until an hour ago and another man representing them called and ask a thousand questions and began making me feel like it was my fault and after several minutes I became defensive myself and lost all respect for them. Fix your side walks, take better care of the reason you have a job. I know I have eaten at two different ones and it is nothing to drop 100.00 for...
