We like Panda's food but, the service lacks everything. Tonight we placed our orders in the St. Joseph, MO restaurant #1037 and my wife and I ordered String Bean chicken and Sweet Fire chicken our favorites. They didn't have these items up so they called out to the cooks for these items and said order waiting. They dished up the items they had ready, setting them aside on the counter, while we waited. I then paid for the food, the cashier handed me the receipt and turned away saying nothing, showing zero gratitude for my purchase. 14 minutes later as per the time stamp on the receipt we were still waiting for the SB chicken. The SF chicken was ready pretty quick and was nearly gone again when finally the SB chicken was ready. My patience was completely gone and I politely requested they start over with our order as the original order was now cold. I didn't feel that my request was unreasonable, as I paid full price for hot food. They then short dipped the food items we were waiting on and we got about 1/2 the amount that we normally get. Our daughter got the broccoli beef and there was NO beef as all in the serving. We were offered no apology for the lost time or inconvenience. Read moreWalked in with my wife and we was the only customers inside. Two girls were making to go orders right by where we were standing waiting to order. They did not acknowledge us at all while we stood there for over 5 minutes. Finally when asked what we wanted, I asked to sample the sweet fire chicken as I didn't know how spicy it would be and my wife wanted to try the honey almond chicken as these are new items. We were told due to covid they no longer give samples. I asked if we bought and hated the food could we exchange it and was told per policy no. My wife asked if I wanted to go elsewhere since we didn't want to spend $11 each on food we might not like. I said yes and as we were leaving in a sarcastic overly enthusiastic tone one of the girls said have a great day. This was clearly meant as a passive aggressive statement as she had no enthusiasm to even greet us when we entered. What I would like is for you to not make people sick. I tried to eat a spring roll on the way home and noticed it was gummy. Spit it out, took a drink, and didn't think anything of it?
Got home to enjoy dinner. ANGUS steak side was so hard and gummy you could not chew it, went in the trash.
Crab - Rangoon, literally looked like rotting cheese and was slimy on the inside. Other spring rolls are not even cooked. All thrown away. ( pics included)
Orange chicken is so darn crunchy, like the meat, was cooked out of it. Thrown away.
Noodles. - the only thing worth eating.
Sadly, I asked for the manager, and the young woman who answered the phone said she would let her know and hung up!!
Not, I repeat, NOT a way to conduct business. I will be contacting corporate now for a full refund.
