Celine Spa & Nails — Local services in Saint Louis Park

The nail techs are nice and it is a very nice salon. The service and stuff included in the manicure is very nice. But I did not like my nails.

You can see there is a lack of paint (I did say only two coats was fine for the purple but it shouldn’t look like that) my nails look bulky, and my cuticles are showing!!

I went in to have them fixed from the bubbling/bulky look…..My original lady just did a new top coat, but I still didn’t like them.

The two nail techs were leaving but saw me in my car debating to go back in…. They couldn’t really see why I didn’t like my nails or see the bubbles in the polish. When I went in the second time the second tech re-did a top coat. I think she wanted to leave because she kept assuring me nothing was wrong with my nails. Therefore, I hesitated to have her re-do them all and I preferred to have someone else fix them from my original lady.

The original person who did my nails really wanted me to be happy. After the second attempt of fixing them, I just told my original lady I was happy because I didn’t want to waste my time, and I didn’t know what they could do to fix them besides start over.

I was excited because of the great reviews but all of the great reviews on here are for Tina, and she’s out currently. I would like a refund at this point.

The whole process felt rushed. Possibly because it was around 2:30 when I came. But the employees should take more time with the painting. I have a very busy schedule and I do not have time to keep going back and...

I booked an appointment for 5 of my friends and myself, all getting different variations of different services (i.e. 4 people got either a pedicure or an acrylic set and 2 people got both).

When I called to make the appointment, they said they would be able to take us. However, our experience there was anything but good. We arrived at 10:15 AM (our scheduled time), and we didn’t get done until 3:00 PM. The nail techs kept switching between us and other walk-in customers. If they didn’t have the staff to take on a big group, they should have been honest about it. We had other plans that day and were running late because we were expecting to only be there until 12/12:30, like we do at normal salons. There was no reason for us to be there for nearly FIVE hours for basic services. There was no consideration and expected us to leave a good tip when we were leaving. There was also another girl that walked in during our services that said she made an appointment with them at 11:00 AM, and they didn’t seat her in a chair until 12:30 PM - only because she finally spoke up and said something to the staff that she needed to leave by 2:00 PM. Why does the set up these appointments and still make them wait over an hour?

Celine Spa and Nails is an awesome experience. You walk in and are greeted right away. They have candy and water and nice soothing music playing in the background. The Spa is newly decorated and has a very lovely cozy vibe. Tina has been doing my nails and toes for a while. She is very dedicated, listens and very kind. Tina is also meticulous when she is doing my nails and they have never looked so good as they do since she's been doing them. I highly recommend going to Celine Spa and Nails you will not be disappointed. If you go in March and in April you will get 20% off that is a great deal.
