IF I COULD GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD!!!
I went into Kohls Today 8/28/2025 approximately around 2:30-2:40 I wasn’t sure where the line was but I saw A few people a head of me ready to check out so I get behind them assuming it was the line and indeed it was..(Well until it was my turn to check out) so the Caucasian lady goes and check out which leaves me and another Caucasian man in line waiting patiently I was waiting for 3-5 mins (I say that because I was patient and unsure) but it was a wait .. the lady is done checking out but now I see another line forming a cross and now the man is confused because where did these people come from but the employees seem to just allow it to happened instead of correcting where the line starts, However the man goes to get check out and now I’m just waiting to get checked out . The man is now finished with his purchase the lady across who just out of no where forms her own line hops in front to check out her items again I’m still waiting and I am not getting upset because how does one hop in front of me after I was waiting in the line that was already formed .. again the workers aren’t informing anyone of where the lines are and people are just making lines and are getting ahead of me so I ask after 5 mins of waiting where do the line starts and the teller was confused and decided to say the line that just got formed which is behind the tellers back and instead of ringing me up the lady looked me in the face and waved for the next person behind her ( which again was a line that was just formed and not the line that was formed 5 mins before .. Which is horrible customer service which what I want to put it at but it could be racially profiling as well and when in customer service it’s polite to direct your customers to the proper line if that is the line .. But this particular Kohl’s don’t know how to conduct business with customer service .. I did not say nothing mean to the teller although i should have spoke on their behavior instead I put my clothing down and decided if this is how i will be treated then i do not need to spend my money at this particular establishment.. I did reach out to the manager and at first she seem to have attitude and was ready to be rude but in customer service it only make sense that if there are two lines forming and it should be one you direct the customers to the proper line and not only service people you feel are important because all customers who spend their money is important . Currently you can go to their website at kohls.com and find instant savings. Currently they are offering kohls cash which is a program where after spending a certain amount of dollars you receive rewards which you can use on future purchases. If your kohls cash expires currently they have some leeway on expiration dates. They have a nice jewelry, selection, clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories. They always have a nice selection of holiday merchandise. They were always well stocked and the only issue with this store currently is the lack of employees. It's very hard to locate an employee for assistance while on the sales floor. This evening, I patiently waited over 15 minutes at the jewelry counter and no one ever showed up to help me. The cashiers just watched me wave at them, and did nothing to help me. This is just another disappointing sign of the times. She was wearing roller skates but was not skating or moving around the store—she simply stood by my side as I shopped. After approximately 30 minutes, we were informed that she could not remain in the store with skates on. I fully understand that stores have safety policies in place, but I believe it would be very helpful if this rule were clearly displayed at the entrance or communicated right away upon entry. That way, customers can make informed decisions from the start and avoid losing valuable time. I would greatly appreciate it if you could: Confirm whether there is an official store policy regarding roller skates. Consider posting a sign or notice if such a policy exists.
