Nan at the corporate office called to complain about how I spoke with a membership representative named Carsen at the Overland Park, KS club. We had switched our membership from an in-person to digital membership over the phone and then got an email two days later stating our membership had been terminated. So we went into the OP, KS club to get things straightened out since after multiple phone calls with "Carter" at the OP, KS location, Lifetime kept overcharging us, crediting the wrong credit card, charging us a "change fee" to downgrade our membership, and to reconfirm we had given over 30 days notice that we wanted to "downgrade" our membership to a digital one. We were wearing masks as we are critical care nurses in a large hospital in Kansas City where the Covid rates in are area are very high. When the employee took us back into the office to speak, we asked her to put on a mask as there wasn't room to socially distance in their membership offices. She refused, stating she was vaccinated. I offered to bring her a new disposable mask from my car, and she said she didn't need to wear it because she was vaccinated. Again, we only came in the club due to billing errors & to make sure our membership had been downgraded from an in-person to digital membership as we didn't feel comfortable in their club any longer where virtually no one wore a mask. Class sizes continued to max out the group class rooms making social distancing impossible. As of 8/26/2021, more than 11% of our hospitalized Covid Patients were fully vaccinated, so we decided we would go back to watching Lifetime Class Videos at home. Then Nan from the corporate office called two days after we went into the club to say we were rude to Carsen and "yelling" in the lobby. We weren't yelling but we were visible upset that a customer service salesperson was treating us so poorly because we were masked. It was a clear case of mask discrimination as she smirked when she saw our PPE. None of the staff I was told by Nan at the corporate office has to wear a mask due to "county guidelines." I said to Nan, don't you think it's good business practice to put on a mask if someone requests? She reiterated it's not required. It's loud and clear what clientele they want at...

Steam room in the women’s locker room rarely works and the type of activity they allow in the sauna is just gross — people coming in with dirty shoes, working out in the sauna. For those of us that enter in to relax and to be able to take a deep breath, it’s just so unsettling.
Customer service is some of the words of any facility or place of patronage in the cleveland area. Wish my $200 a month could buy me the ability to rate less than 1 star. Can’t wait until a competitor opens and gives us somewhere else to spend our time...
