Other than the in store CVS pharmacy (which is actually great), this place is terrible. They used to have nice staff at the counters, but not anymore. The main complaint is that the shelves are never stocked, items can be out for months at a time. We live down the street and stop in quite a lot, simply for the convenience factor. If we didn't live down the street, we wouldn't set foot in this mismanaged joke of a store. We get our prescriptions here, so it's easy to attempt to get some shopping done when we come in. "Attempt" being the key word. If it wasn't so convenient, I have little doubt that this store would've closed some time ago.
If you are a woman looking for some basic clothing like jeans, t shirts or tank tops... run, run as fast as you can. It is a small store so you would think they would have the basics in their clothing section. Instead, you will find all the flannel the 1990's couldn't sell, some super sequined monstrosities that even my grandmother wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, and (I kid you not) full body unicorn costumes in their women's apparel area. True story. Unicorn onesies. One stop shopping at it's finest.
When certain items aren't on the shelf and haven't been for some time, asking one of the approximately dozen 'stockers' milling aimlessly about the shop will often yield you the discovery that they have plenty - it's just in the back. This is not always the case, though. On multiple occasions, we've found disgruntled employees taking pictures of the empty shelves. We were looking for products that used to be there and asked them what happened, they told us each time something to the tune of "It's been weeks/months since they ordered this; I'm sick of this, I'm taking photos to send to corporate". They can't even stock their own Target brand/Archer Farms products. Even keeping simple items like soda on the shelves seems to be too much. Seeing as they have about a dozen employees milling about the store looking at the empty shelves, I doubt it is these people's fault. Especially with the angry ones sending in photos to corporate about the lack of stock. Whoever does the orders/management of this place is a complete screw up, maybe someone important's family member who just can't be fired. It's really amazing they are still in business, but the convenience factor here is King and probably explains that. I know former Target employees who are mindblown when they set food into this shambles of a store.
P.S. Check the dates on all perishables, on everything for that matter. Lots of expired food and opened packages...
Read moreRude customer service lady this morning. I am rethinking shopping at this particular Target. I have had a better experience at Midway Target. I pulled up to pickup an order I placed online. She came up to the car with a loud and annoyed tone and asked for my code. I told her I would come in instead hoping that someone else would take care of me. When I came in the same woman had gotten into an argument with an an elderly male customer about the same attitude she was giving me at the pickup area. We both agreed and told her if she didn’t like her job that she should leave it and let someone else have it who does. I picked up my package and left after that.
Update:I came back to this same Target today and got a different person, an AA woman who wears glasses, at the order pickup counter. I said hello to her and she did not respond. After about 2 minutes she asked me for my pickup code. No “ Hello” back. No, “how can I help you?”, just the pick up code. At first I was not sure what was going on because she did not acknowledge me or respond. I told her, as well about her rudeness and she proceeded to argue with me that she was not being rude when clearly she was. Picked up my order once again and left. Outrageous that these folks are employed in customer service. This seems to be the culture at this Target store and maybe others who knows.I refuse to spend my money somewhere that treat its customers this way. I will not be...
Read moreI know better than to tell the whole company based on indirect experience that could potentially be exacerbated by this particular location was a bit exhausting in their attempts to harass me out of the door only seconds after they let me in, and I believe that there is a time and a place to complain about such an event, but I don’t know how to let the company understand that they are costing customers potentially in the long run. Tell them that they can’t allow another few minutes for a person to grab three more items. And instead intend to protect their perceived time so rudely if they needed to be out of the door to go home at 10 o’clock exactly then they should probably discuss closing time. We understand that people are going to understand that, and value their time and want to have consideration of their customers needs, which I would appreciate greatly as a customer who victim to the lost awareness of time. Why do I need to be pushed out of the door without consideration or validation from my experience I have, wanted to protect my own energies, but I don’t harass the customers because my work...
