0 star review. Location Wentzville. My fiancé sat an appointment up for himself and his groomsmen for 2 o'clock. It was dissused that he would be there at approximately 1:30 to discuss colors. Appointment was confirmed. When he arrived he notified a staff member that he had an appointment, gave his name, which was acknowledged. I received a phone call from him at 3pm asking me to come help him. When I arrived to the store I asked him what he needed help with? My fiancé and his best man showed me two different colors they were looking at. I asked where the associate was that was helping them. They stated that the gentleman had not been helping at all. I asked if they had even been measured because they had been there for an hour and thirty minutes. No. Nothing. They stated the gentleman walked away from them and began helping walk in client's. I was speechless because isn't that the purpose of sitting up an appointment? I then began to look at colors of fabric swatches holding next to the color of suit we had liked. The gentleman finally came over and stated "oh are you the bride?" I stated yes. He then asked if I had a swatch of my bridesmaid dresses and I told him I did not but that this color (then showed fabric) is smilar and what we were looking for. He said " oh okay" then he just walked away. Nothing else was said as he walked over to another customer and began helping them. After finishing with them he walked over to the other side of the store and just stood there. I stated I think we should just leave which was overheard and another worker went and said something to him. He came back and started making excuses as to how they were so busy. There were only 4 customers in the store counting ourselves. Two were being helped by the 2 female staff members. The gentleman wouldn't even look at us when he spoke just looked at his tablet and continued to state how this happens and they are just busy. The best man stated sir we had an appointment and you are not even trying to assist us but its fine and then began to explain the colors of the ties and tuxedo pocket squares. I looked at my fiancé and could see how upset he was so I took him by the hand, excused ourselves, and had a private conversation stating if this doesn't feel right and you want to leave, we can walk out right this minute and that he did not deserve to be treated this way. He agreed. We walked back to our group and I stated " I think we are going to go and try somewhere else." The man did not say anything he just walked away. I am just baffled by this horrible experience and hope this never happens to...
Read moreMy Fiance and I made an appointment here to get his & the groomsmen tuxes for our wedding. The man who helped us (I wish I remembered his name) was very rude the entire time. He mumbled and went through the choices with us very quickly. I had to keep asking him to repeat himself because I could barely hear him. I wanted my Fiance to try on a couple different color tuxes because we didn't know what would look best on him. They told us he couldn't try any on because they didn't have his size. (mind you they have racks and racks of suits/tuxes in different colors). When we asked for the different choices we could rent they basically pointed at 3 different displays and said we have these 3. You only have 3 different styles of tuxes to choose from? (again they have racks and racks of tuxes) I didn't quite understand why we could only choose from 3. As we continued the process the man asked us if we wanted and coffee or water while we waited for him to enter everything in the computer. My Fiance asked for a coffee and the man rolled his eyes right in front of us and acted bothered! Are you serious? He was the one who asked?! After sometime of entering all the information into the computer it ended up being $250 for rentals. Well I was very dissatisfied with the customer service so I decided to try out Savvi Formalwear and oh my goodness it was like night and day. The lady there was wonderful! They had like 8-10 different tux styles and she even offered to size him that day and the next day she would have his exact size tux in 2 different styles so he could try it on and decide which one we liked best plus rentals were half the price! That same day we went back to Mens Warehouse and got our deposit back. Save your money and get a better experience with Savvi...
Read moreI wouldn't recommend relying on them for your wedding. I was a groomsmen, all we got from Men's Wearhouse was some accessories, hat, gloves and a cane. We got our tux's somewhere else. Since these were purchased items, not rented, I had them ordered to be delivered 3 weeks before the wedding, I just figured why not get them plenty early. I never did get a call like they said and when I called a week before the wedding, they hadn't even ordered them yet. They did get the items in and I went to pick them up 2 days before the wedding and the cane was the wrong color. Initially the person working started to argue that I got what I ordered because they only have one color cane available, only upon pulling out the picture to show me did they see that mine was not the same as what the picture showed.
I waited for 30 minutes while she called all the other stores to end up telling me there is nothing they can do. The one thing i can say for them is that they gave me all my money back and I got to keep everything, which for most things would more than satisfy me, but if its 2 days before your wedding and your Tux is screwed up and there is nothing they can do. your money back probably isn't going to fix everything. Luckily it was just a cane and I did a pretty good paint job on it to make it the right color.
Oh also, they tried to give me a refund as a gift card, and when I asked why they said it was because I paid with a gift card. I told them I didn't and started to try to pull up my credit card statement on my phone but before I even got there they decided I didn't pay with a gift card, I guess this is just standard practice to try to force you into a gift card...
