Atlas Body + Home has been nothing short of amazing. There are so many reasons for this 5-star review. I stumbled upon Atlas and immediately knew that they'd earn my business. The owners, Tony and Michael, make you feel like you are their only customer (despite the fact there are always a number of friendly return customers in the store). The first time I wandered into Atlas, I found several things that I loved. But, as I'm a bigger guy, my sizes weren't readily available. Tony and Michael asked if they could contact me when they had some inventory in stock. I said sure but wasn't holding breath. Imagine my surprise when I got a text that they had several options for me. There was no pressure to purchase it, but they wanted me to know that they had heard my request. Of course, I stopped by and willing surrendered by wallet :). Thus began my obsession with Atlas. Tony and Michael have continued to look out for sizes that fit me, and, in a lot of ways, sort of became a personal shopper. So now whether I'm choosing to entertain at home, play it causal, or dress up, it seems that Atlas is always present. It may be a candle, a bracelet, a ball cap, swim trunks, or a good shirt! And the fact also remains that all of the products are quality. Finally, I'm so impressed with the "corporate social responsibility" displayed by Atlas. Atlas Body + Home is AMAZING!!!! As a guy I often feel left out or forgotten by most cool retail fashion stores. Men's clothes, especially in small boutiques, are often regulated to the back of the store with minimal options. Not at Atlas! This place is just for dudes and those that buy for us!! They have an incredible selection of clothes for a night on the town or a day at the beach. Not to mention, the awesome bags, candles, and designer furniture pieces carefully displayed around the store. Atlas Body + Home is owned by two very friendly guys, Michael & Tony. They both have an incredible taste for fashion and design and their store shows it. Let these guys dress you, fit you in a bathing suit, and send you on your way smiling and looking amazing. Great store! The main reasons I'd recommend checking them out are (1) they have lots of trendy items I wouldn't be able to find in-store anywhere nearby (I value being able to try stuff on rather than just ordering online and hoping it looks and fits okay on me), (2) the owners were willing to give pairing advice (I asked for it) for guys like me who aren't necessarily so stylish, and (3) the owners provided brand-specific advice about fit, care and durability.

I went to get a few pieces before a trip to Fire Island; they had a bunch of pairing suggestions. Ultimately, I bought several pairs of shorts that I love, and they gave me a bunch of pointers on care for the particular brand.
