First time I've been to this place just had two hips replace so I was on the Walker everybody was wonderful made accommodations for me. They did a fantastic job on my toes and my fingers and couldn't have asked for better service and really nice people.. the only thing about a lot of these nail places the text that work there they don't speak English or they don't understand what you're trying to tell them, it's like when you go to get your hair cut you talk to the girl who's cutting your hair I mean everybody talks to the beautician well you'd like to talk to The nail tech and you can't talk to them find out about them and make the time go by faster because they don't understand you or they don't talk English and it's a shame because there's a lot of nice women that work in these places.. when you go to explain to them the way you want something done they don't understand so you try to show them and then someone comes over I guess the manager he asked you what's the problem or what do you need done you tell him he explained it to them and that language and then they say okay okay they have broken English and it's a shame because there's a lot of really nice women in these nail salons that you would like to talk to make the time go by faster and get to know and you can't do that because they don't understand English and they don't speak it and I think this is wrong, we live in America and they should be able to understand and speak our language because it would be expected of us if we went to their country.. especially when you're dealing with the public and providing a service like this. I'm visiting my son here in St Pete haven't been here in quite a while, I live in New Port Richey but if I'm back in this area again and I need my nails done I definitely will go back to this place because they were fantastic with me!! I find that living in New Port Richey when I go to the salons same thing nobody understands you, they don't talk English and again I will say if you're dealing with the public you should be able to communicate with your clientele instead of having somebody interpret for you I mean they live here and like I said before if we were visiting or especially living in their country they would expect us to speak their language and I really and truly don't think you know that's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start by saying I just came from my appointment and can't say I will make it a point to go back. I havenāt been getting my nails done as frequently as I used to so when I go for a service it really feels like I am treating myself to something nice. When I checked in prior to my appointment time I was greeted by a young woman who had a major attitude. I mentioned I signed up for a coupon on their website (which offers a discount on a service and a free glass of wine) she immediately said she would acknowledge it at check out and then told me to go pick a color and wait. No one asked or offered anything to drink and I was made to feel uncomfortable. My nail tech was Mike, he was very friendly and polite. He did a nice job with my nails. But for a salon only five months open to the area the product was very old and difficult to work with. When I was finished I went to check out and the same girl told me the cost of service. When I mentioned I had the coupon while pulling it up on my phone she immediately was short with me and said she needed to see it. When I paid she had a passive aggressive and judgmental comment because I wanted a copy of my receipt for my records. It is not her place to make a comment on what/why I want a receipt. I am not sure if she was just having a bad day but to pay this kind of money for a service and to be treated with an attitude because she has to āworkā is really frustrating. Especially because I did hear many good things, read so many good reviews online and I understand that this owner has another salon an many restaurants down on Central. Customer service needs to be improved in this particular location especially if the cost of service is going to remain as high just because its downtown. Super...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had high hopes. I passed by the morning of before they opened, saw the sign, QR code for discount, free glass of wine/lunch. Returned 2ish & referenced specials. The lady assigned to my pedicure initially mentioned a lunch menu, then casually ignored it. I chose the $68, highest pedicure. I did not get quality service I had to ask her repeatedly to clean up the cuticle, dead skin on my big toes, shape the 4th toe on the right foot I had torn off prior to coming. There was nothing special or spectacular about the service I received on a random Monday. Towards the end I asked why did she say the wine would be $4 a glass when my coupon showed 12% off & glass of wine free? She spoke to the salon manager who honored the coupon. I asked about eyebrow waxing & the woman doing the pedicure declined. Another woman did the eyebrow waxing. The shape wasn't clear. I rarely get eyebrow services so it should have been an easy canvas to work with. I did not feel welcome. I did not feel valued as a customer. I received a 20% discount total, 8% off for using cash. I don't recommend this company for service. This photo is 4 days later. My eyebrows nor pedicure anything to...
