I moved here a year ago have bought numerous pieces of jewelry there ,a very expensive emerald and diamond ring for my sister from the vendor YAD, also a cameo ring, The two elderly women who work there should not be working in customer service especially in the jewelry department they know nothing about Jewelry and when you ask them for help it seems like it’s a gigantic chore, for them to open up the cases we just were in there and one of them told us to wait a minute and there was no one in the jewelry department when you first walk in, whoever is the owner of this establishment or manager should pay better attention to their store,The two elderly women who work there should not be working in customer service especially in the jewelry department they know nothing about Jewelry and when you ask them for help it seems like it’s a gigantic chore for them to open up the cases we just were in there and one of them told us to wait a minute and there was no one in the jewelry department when you first walk in, whoever is the owner of this establishment or manager maybe should pay more attention to who is working there, attitude is a very important part of customer service they act like you’re distracting them because they are in personal conversations also the gentleman that works there is very kind very personable and accommodating to your needs these 2 have to go ,My sister asked to please sit down for a minute and asked permission to sit in the chair one of the old Biddys said to her are you setting or shopping??? Is this the type of people that you have working for you ?nasty and rude?? Hire some real professionals. OK...

Antiques Galleries of St Petersburg is the first group shop or antique mall that has met my expectations since I am a transplant from "up North." Most of the shops I have been to in Florida have been a little disappointing. Antiques Galleries of St Pete is the exception. I was pleased to find a diverse selection of EVERTHING here! There are some booths specializing in Mid Century Modern. Others have original art. You'll find plenty of showcases FILLED with all kinds of jewelry, from glitzy and designer signed costume jewelry and fine sterling to14 K pieces and diamonds as well. My pet peeve is going to a shop and having to wait a long time to have something shown to me from a locked case. That is NOT applicable here! There is always someone ready and willing to help. They carry furniture, art pottery, vintage clothing, accessories and home décor. There is even a second floor. You can easily spend a whole afternoon here. The person who sent me here said it was a little pricey. I disagree. The merchandise is better than most shops and I have even been able to purchase items for resale. It is NOT a "flea market" style shop or "thrift shop", but a real antiques shop with quality...

Such a beautiful Antique Store. Very well organized with anitiques in display cases and well laid out. Reminded me of some of the antique markets I went to in London. Pricing seems pretty fair when you know what you are looking at. Somethings are a steal...others perhaps a little pricey but on average I found things priced very well. I loved the variety of the items offered. It wasn't the same old stuff you see at pretty much every antique store. There was so much uniqueness and variety. Everything from vintage jewelry, clothing, antique furnature, cut glass and crystal, vintage holiday, furs, vintage fishing, dishes, art, collectables, pocket knives, toys tools, and other fantastic curiosities. 2 floors and antiqueing goodness with friendly and helpful staff.
