I decided to stop through the drive thru the get my son a cheeseburger and fries (and a few other items) . He’s 11 and had never been to Checkers and heard the fries were really good. I had not been in almost 10 years because the last few times at another location were not good experiences. I placed my order when prompted through the intercom and didn’t hear anything back after waiting for several minutes so I went ahead and pulled up. They asked me what my order was and I repeated it to the female employee who seemed newer and was not rude at all and then she shut the window, conversed with other employees. A male employee came to the window and asked for me to give him my order again only for him to then say to go back around, wait in line again and give it into the intercom that wasn’t working properly AGAIN. To which I said so you want me to repeat the order that you both just asked me to repeat to you in person here and go back around to say the same thing into the intercom that doesn’t work? I said, I will not be doing that to which the male employ said well then Ba Bye in a very rude and condescending tone. The fact is I get it you deal with rude people probably all day long and I am sure it sucks but just think about some reasonable problem solving skills for this scenario. Such as , I’m sorry the intercom must not have picked up your order. Let me write down your order, you can pay and pull back around to the other side to pick it up. Very simple solution for a simple problem. I’m not writing this to get anyone fired. I’m writing this to suggest some problem solving solutions to your employees. Read moreI was really curious to try Checkers for the first time I went at 1:30 AM on Sunday December 3rd. Immediately upon trying to order I was forced to order from some kinda kiosk AI it misunderstood my order and completely ruined the entire process. I had to drive up to the window just to ensure it was accurate. I paid and they didn't give me a receipt which was odd but whatever, Immediately after paying I was told to park in lane 2 and wait. I waited about 7 minutes only to have another employee stick their head out the window and yell I can't just be here!! Why are you sitting there 😐. .. I'm absolutely dumbstruck and yell back I ordered and they told me to wait here. She then says that was wrong and for me to pull up to the left side window now?! So I do and when they give me my order it only has half of what I ordered I'm missing my drink and shake... I wait patiently for someone to notice me , nothing so then I have to get out of my car and knock on the window . She blames the missing drink on her co-worker amd that he's a child and that's why he's off duty now... I will never be going this location ever again. I'm hopeful other locations aren't as poorly staffed
Edit: The food was poorly cooked and put together I ended up throwing it away and went to Macdonalds. The meat on the bacon burger was just disgusting 🫣. I don't think I'll roll the dice with my health considering trying this Checkers ever again reguardless of the location. Looking at other reviews, it's just how they run their business tbey dont really care... Avoid...

She dont have time for games but shes so nice, gets her job done quickly but CORRECTLY and always has a super positive attitude I live in the area so I can imagine some people they have to deal with especially on 3rd shift. Natasha your positive attitudedoesnt go unnoticed🤗🙃*Little factors make a BIG difference! I used to go to this Checkers a lot bout 2 yrs ago, my old roomate loved however I did NoT back THEN. Staff had bad attitude, people were always begging outside but tonight was a totally different experience!!! There were no lines just cars moving thru quickly and when we get to the speaker it starts great from there, even tho it was later, the person had a great attitude and made us laugh(me n my friend were fighting bc I didnt want to go there lol) anyway the staff was 100% different everyone was smiling and working hard. They definitely exceeded my expectations 150% for Checkers, for fast food, for just customer service in GENERAL. Especially since the pandemic people are really starting to show fear and insecurity. When I have to go ou to run errands I notice it from both sides the customers and employees so when I see someone enjoying being able to have a job right now just makes a huge difference in my day.
