Selection: Frontroom Couture has a great dress selection, but it is also not overwhelming like some other places. The very first dress that I tried on was the dress I went with. I loved that it was that simple. Price: It was important to me not to overspend on a wedding dress since it is something I will only wear for one day of my life and I don't necessarily agree with spending thousands upon thousands of dollars. But it was also important that it was a beautiful dress that I would feel amazing in. I am happy that I was able to get a dress that I absolutely loved for under $1,000, and it was made to order which was an added bonus. Process: overall, the process was smooth. Slight hiccups along the way with things out of anyone's control, such as alterations running slightly passed the stated timeline due to seamstress being sick. However, Cindy waived the alteration fee because of this, which I really appreciated and respected. I wasn't super comfortable with the fit around my waist and hips (it felt too baggy and boxy for me). I was considering getting the dress taken in more, but Cindy was concerned with me being able to sit and move comfortably in it. Cindy recommended a belt, which wound up being a beautiful addition to the dress, and a creative way to break-up my midline and address my discomfort with feeling boxy. The only thing I regret is not having the dress altered to be shorter and having more bustles added. I was tripping over it all day and night and needed to change out of it eventually in order to dance. Overall, I am very glad that I chose Frontroom Couture for my wedding dress needs and I would recommend it to other...
Read moreI had the best experience here! I am not someone that writes/gives reviews often, but their service has prompted me to do exactly that.
I had a dress that I needed to be re-altered, as the original spot I took it completely botched the job. Originally, I tried to resolve it with the place that worked on my dress in the first place, but was not able to discuss it with them - instead, she just told me what I was asking was not possible. I knew that it was possible, she just did not want to do it... Photo attached.
By this point, my event was two days away, I had no seamstress, and only had a messed up dress. I called around town and found Frontroom Couture. I sent them a text with a picture of the dress and they agreed it was awful and needed to be fixed right away. They called the tailor on her day off (which is way more than I would ever expect, or ask, that someone do), and she agreed to fix first thing in the morning. I went in, tried on the dress, discussed what needed to be addressed, and I had the fixed dress back in my hand about 24 hours later. It looks and fits great! Photo also attached.
Including the rush charge, I still paid less than where I originally took the dress. So, I must also say that the pricing was more than reasonable, in my opinion.
Their willingness to work with me, the fact that they went above and beyond, charged a fair price, and delivered quality work, made me want to spread the word. I will be taking any future alteration needs here.
They had some awesome wedding dresses on the racks too, for those who are on the hunt for one. :)
Thank you to Frontroom Couture for...
Read moreI cannot recommend Frontroom Couture in Saint Pete enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine excitement. I had the pleasure of working with Christine, and she was absolutely amazing—so sweet, patient, and full of beautiful energy. She made the entire experience feel effortless and special.
What really stood out to me was how refreshing it was to be in a bridal shop that combined incredible prices with truly stunning gowns. Every dress I saw was high quality, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. And best of all, nothing in the store was over $2,000—making it such a stress-free space for brides shopping on a more realistic budget. The dresses were BY FAR better quality than anything I saw elsewhere.
To be completely honest, I had a terrible experience at The Dress Room in downtown St. Pete before coming here. I was handed dresses that had full cups of coffee spilled on them, and I was made to feel like my $1,200–$1,500 budget wasn’t enough. It was disheartening and made me question the entire process. But Frontroom Couture changed all of that.
They respected my budget, celebrated my vision, and even custom-make your dress to your measurements—and that’s INCLUDED in the price! I walked away feeling confident, valued, and excited, which is exactly how every bride deserves to feel.
If you’re a bride looking for a dress-shopping experience that’s joyful, affordable, and full of heart, Frontroom Couture is the place to go. Don’t waste your time...
