Their stuff was nice, but the man working there was extremely rude. I thought it was just me, but my 13 year old niece commented to me how rude he was after we left. His demeanor towards us in the store made it seem like we were unwanted. I was waiting in line to check out while they were helping a group in front of me. When they were done the man and his wife left the counter and left us standing there. I could hear them in the back talking about groceries. Finally the other associate came and helped us, after we stood there for 5 minutes. I would have just left, but I didn't want to upset my niece or set a bad example. My only guess at his anger was that I was using my UV light to shine on rocks that fluoresce. I've used the light at many rock shows with no attitude or issues. People have been known to sell fake rocks, I learned that the hard way. But in this instance, it was to show my niece how cool it looked when the rocks lit up under the light. I actually hadn't intended on buying them, however I was impressed with the color. Regardless of that, I would never shop there again. It's one thing to be rude to an adult, it's another to do it to a child. We decided to make a special stop in that store before we began our long drive back to Michigan. If I lived there, would return everything I shouldn't...
Read moreThe staff, the jeweler, and the pieces themselves are all top notch! I enjoy unique, jewelry that is unlike other pieces, and like learning the details--the metals, the stones, the process of putting them together. It's part of the experience and I walked out with three of those very unique pieces this weekend.
I was in town for a formal wedding when I realized I had left my bracelets at home. After a phone call, I walked in with photos of my wedding outfit and a lot of hope. Kai and Christie found not only the the perfect bracelet--a sparkly macrame lapis lazuli and Herkimer diamond stunner--but also a unique faceted moonstone necklace on a 16" rose gold and silver chain.
I couldn't leave any of the pieces behind and came back for the pendant. My mom hasn't taken the moonstone necklace off yet. Kai, if you see this, she WAS the right person for it.
Read moreEvery aspect of the process from timelines, to communication, to construction of the ring left something to be desired. After 3 or 4 trips for corrections to the ring, my fiancee band I decided to look for another jeweler to get her ring fixed up to par. I should have not had them build a ring for us. Especially since they never returned my initial email inquiry.
REPLY TO OWNER: The stones did not fit in your CAD design and the CAD ring was too small for her finger. We had to look look at the stones on her finger. Your staff told us not to worry, it was just a CAD design and it would all turn out well. My fiancee did send an email asking your team to make the ring a size larger. There was no reply (see communication grievance above) and the change was not made. The last time she came in because the stone was loose your staff told my employee that they "Jerry rigged" the stone to get it tight. It was loose again...
