We came in the morning of Sunday, October 20th. Our server was impatient, snarky, sarcastic, and confrontational. We're easy-going folks so we just let it slide off and tried not to bother him much more than we already inadvertently had, it seemed like he really didn't want to be there taking care of people. When he was delivering items to the table, my boyfriend's foot was in the way under the table, he moved it and apologized promptly, our server proceeded to sigh, shake his head, roll his eyes, and silently drop the waters and coffee in front of us, disappointedly. At another point another friend joined us and rejected water from the server and then absent mindedly drank the rest of a friend's at the table. When my friend asked for more water the server responded "So he didn't want any water after I offered and then just drank all of yours? Yeah of course." I totally understand being frustrated with what happened, I'm seasoned server myself, but I can't condone the inability to control your reactions, especially when we were so apologetic and aware of his irritability. Serving is difficult work, it can be emotionally draining and it definitely tests your patience. I get it, but the job description is literally to be friendly and accomadating, at the very least don't be rude. The food and atmosphere is diner friendly, the service is fast and I'd come here for a quick hangover bite. But I wish I'd been treated with more kindness. Hopefully this guy has a...
Read moreSearched hard to find a "country style" bteakfast in downtown st pete! Their menu offered up everything I was looking for. The people were friendly and corteous, great diner atmosphere, Thought I had hit the "breakfast jackpot", Sadly, the food was improperly prepared, ig: homefries=, just above raw Corned beef hash= wheres the beef?, More onion n greenpepper than anything, bland flavor Sausage= pretty good! Eggs= perfect! Toast, = ok THE COFFEE= MORE LIKE COLORED HOT WATER, HORRIBLE!!!WORST I HAD IN YEARS!!!!! VERY DISSAPOINTED! To bad, because everything was perfect, except the food, I feel terribe that they probably wont survive due to poor food quality, Terrible shame, I could understand, if they were extremely busy, however, this is 9:30 monday morning, wish I could offer a more positive review, nice people, fire the cook! I dont think re-training is an option, cooking requires, love and care for what u are preparing, rather than applying heat, tossing on a plate, I personally enjoy cooking, and have always gathered positive remarks, mostly, i believe, because A little heart goes into every preparation, I was looking forward to returning daily for next two weks, as Im working in the area, however, I bieve I will, instead, further my search, for an honest to goodness, country style breakfast I wish them much...

Moved down here not too long ago and decided to try this local spot down the road from my new apartment. We walk in to ask for a table. A heavier set woman, was extremely rude. I’ve worked in the service industry and I know the feeling of being overly busy and tired. But being rude to people for no apparent reason is uncalled for and is never okay.
I saw some extra chairs outside so wondering if there were extra tables, we went inside to ask.
I asked “can we sit outside?” Her (with annoyed tone): are there open tables outside? Me: no Her (sarcastic tone): then where would you sit? Me: I was asking if you guys have extra tables since there’s a stack of chairs. Her (with attitude): do you see any extra tables outside? Me: no Her (attitude and sarcasm continues): then where do you want me to find tables from? Me: I’m just asking you, if you have any extra tables to set up since there are extra stacked chairs outside. Her (rudely): do you see any extra tables here?
At that point we left.
There is absolutely zero reason to be rude and have that tone with anyone. Especially not to a potential patron. The point of this review is for the owner to be mindful of the type of people you choose to be the face of your...
