Sail When And If — Local services in Salem

In July I caught the 90 minute midday sail and today the 2-hr sunset sail. Wonderful consistency in this excellent chance to get on the water.

The crew's understated but highly professional and tightly executed seamanship set the most nervous folks at ease. The vessel is magnificent and it's size and balance give a smooth, luxurious ride.

We had a perfect sunset cruise on the When and If in Salem yesterday. If you love to be out on the water, don’t miss this opportunity. The crew is wonderful and will share some of the history of this unique sailboat. They also are happy to let you help with the sails. The boat is comfortable, the drinks are delicious, and views are spectacular. We got lucky with a special appearance from a pilot whale. After a day of walking through the typical tourist spots, this was a relaxing way to get away and see something new. Seth and his crew were wonderful. The experience, being out on this piece of history, in Salem Harbour, was sublime. The weather was looking sketchy during the day and Seth made sure to keep in contact with us in case our time changed or storms did roll in, but we sailed on time and for the full scheduled time. Crew member, JP, made great drinks, and the overall experience was just incredible.
