I won’t say my Trip to Salem was horrible , the history was interesting to learn about , the scenery was beautiful and like others I have a fascination with Witches. But if you go to one Witch store you’ve seen them all. One thing I can say is this town is one of the most expensive places I have ever visited and I have traveled a lot. 99.9% of the Witch shops have the most over priced items it was offensively ridiculous . This store was the first I had visited and the only one I have purchased from. Their prices are super affordable and the quality of there items sold was on point . The older gentleman I think might be the owner was very friendly . I bought a decorative box from them and after giving them the display box they of course handed me one new in a packaged box. I took it back and saw some slight differences and I called asking if I could possibly get an exchange . Without question they gave me the one I wanted which was the display and they even had a bin with free items that had been defective or I’m assuming returned. Shockingly it was actually nice quality free items so it was nice to see a store so openly giving to others. This coming from a town that charges for absolutely everything I’m shocked they didn’t change for the air we were breathing. So if you’re looking for authentic and fairly priced items this is the store to go to. (Ps not throwing hate towards Salem I loved it I just hated how expensive it was to do...
Read moreI would leave 0 stars if I could. The customer service is awful. I purchased a cheap $5 broomstick witch pen and while using the register pen to sign the receipt, the female employee grabbed the pen from my hand as if I was stealing their product by saying, “I’ll take that.” I spoke to the manage/owner regarding the incident because I found it appalling for a customer to be treated so rudely. The manager stated, “I’m going to excuse her behavior due to it being a stressful time of year.” I’m not sure what is stressful about selling magnets and shot glasses, but if that’s stressful, then it’s best their hidden in a back alley and not on the main...
Read moreThis is a great tourist shop that has all the cute little random Salem related knick knacks and thingies everyone collects when they travel. There are also some random authentic witchcraft items, some Salem shirts and hoodies, just an overall good selection for browsing and shopping for whatever. They also have a great location and are the only tourist shop on that area of Derby Street so they are kitschy but still classy to fit in to the...
