If you see seats available on a tiki cruise snap them up! Your 90-minute sail around Salem Harbor will be the highlight of your week if not month. Captain Scott and Karen are the best hosts, sailors, cocktail makers, dog parents and they work so well with different groups to make every cruise absolutely perfect! Captain Scott will welcome you at the dock, collect your waivers, give you a lei and then do a quick safety briefing (no jumping in!) before you board the tiki boat where Karen will learn your names and make you a killer cocktail complete with flower garnish. We booked a ride on the new second Tiki Boat - and we were a little nervous at first, thinking we might miss out on the full experience since it was their second, newer boat without the cute little doggies on board. But those worries were quickly squashed — we had an amazing time! The crew was fantastic — super friendly, fun, I learned a lot about sailing from the captain- and they made sure we were having a great time. The atmosphere was perfect, and honestly, it ended up being our favorite experience in Salem! Everyone we met was so nice, and we had an absolute blast. Highly recommend! The 7pm launch was spectacular as well, the sunsets and views were so beautiful! My first time out on this lovely Tiki Hut Boat but certainly won’t be the last! Captain Scott was a excellent captain from explaining all important safety rules from the get go to magically producing music from Gilligan’s Island for us to enjoy listening to when I commented how much this awesome boat reminds me of the show♥️First mate Karen made us some amazingly tasty libations that all had creative ingredients as well as awesome names to them. Honestly the drinks were far more creative then in many local bars in the area. Margo(Rita) the black lab mix was an awesome addition as well.
