inside a relatively nondescript door and upstairs sits an incredibly beautiful and well-appointed little shop bursting with peaceful, calming oceanic vibes. The proprietress is very clearly an authentic, practicing sea witch who knows her craft and is passionate about sharing the bounty and beauty of the seas with other magical folk, tourists, the curious, and her friends who will all find something that meets their needs- from pretty ocean artifacts like ethically sourced loose rocks and shells to candles and incense for both home and altar, soaps and teas made in small batches by other small, women/minority owned business, books and decks to enhance your knowledge and practice and gorgeous, detailed and well-thought hand-crafts filled with intentional magic and beauty. If you’re in Salem, stop in and bask in this shop’s beauty and light!

my two friends and i took a class with The Sea Wych where we made our very own sea witch ball. the workshop was set up so beautifully, and it was so nice to enjoy the space with three other women (students) as we created magic!! The class began with some brief history of water witchcraft, then a 10-minute soothing meditation session which made some of the ladies cry, and then a step-by-step instruction on how to assemble the sea witch ball. 10/10 would recommend. Attending this class was no doubt the highlight of our Salem trip.

This little shoppe is AMAZING! Such cute items… the decor is delightful. Reasonably priced and curated with much care and love. The owner is knowledgeable, caring and, extremely attentive but most of all her energy can be felt the moment you enter her space. She also offers readings, consultations and witch ball workshops. I’ve attended a couple and they are so much fun! A must visit while in Salem.

If you go to one shop and/or get one reading while you’re in Salem, PLEASE go to the Sea Wych and see Phe. I’ve been in Salem with my best friend for a few days, and the experience we had there was nothing short of magical.

We each did the 45 minute spiritual consultation and took the witch ball making class. Phe’s energy, light, and love that she puts into her craft shone so brightly throughout the entire experience. Her appreciation and respect for the sea can be seen in every corner.

We learned so much fun lore behind the witch ball and had a blast crafting with the intentions we set and all of the incredible ingredients, most if not all of which she collects herself. With the reading, we each received our own personalized custom spells based on the cards pulled that are so perfectly aligned with what we both needed.

Her shop is so beautifully decorated and has the most incredible curation of items, from books and tarot/oracle decks, to altars and witch jars hand-crafted by the Sea Wych, herself, to crystals, jewelry, and other ritual tools. The atmosphere is so calming and welcoming. She puts so much intention and love into the space that you can just FEEL. Truly, truly, truly, it was the most incredible experience of the whole trip, and I can’t wait to come back to Salem to visit her...

If you’re visiting Salem, a stop at The Sea Wych is an absolute must. The calming, whimsical atmosphere that Phe has so thoughtfully created is unlike anything else you’ll find in Salem. Phe’s spiritual connection to the sea has shaped every detail of her shop and craft. Because of this intentionality, whether you’re browsing, attending a workshop, or getting a reading, you receive an authentic, meaningful experience.

My best friend and I each booked a 45-minute spiritual reading after exploring other shops in town, and without a doubt, my reading at The Sea Wych was a highlight of our trip. It felt deeply personal, insightful, and resonated in a way that stood out from the rest.

We enjoyed our readings so much that we signed up for the witch ball workshop. We learned about the history of the witch ball, set our intentions, then got to crafting and connecting.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t wait to see how The Sea Wych continues to evolve. Wishing you all the success in the world, Phe. Thank you for sharing your craft with us and welcoming us into your...

If you are ever in Salem and want to meet a real witch you must go here! I had a feeling to stop by and check this shop out. The moment I walked in the owner Phe welcomed me with such great energy and made me feel safe to ask about her shop. She listened to my needs. I needed a care package with meaning for a dear friend in California. My friend was needing strength and healing and support from me from afar. I explained my situation. She provided suggestions and guidance on how to create this care package. Anyways, after picking some items she gave me assurance of how special she will make this package for my friend. And let me tell you my best friend from California was so happy and thrilled with the package. She said she felt how much love and care the package was made and how she wrote everything so lovely for my friend. I can’t explain how meaningful this package was for our friendship and I could not have done without the sea wych. Thank you so much for everything. I am definitely going to visit...
