We had a home designed/built about a year ago and interviewed ADT (who we were using on our other house at the time) and Alarm Engineering at the house while it was in the early framing stage. I asked both companies to recommend/design a security alarm/camera/video system, structured network system and music system for the interior/exterior. ADT could only price the alarm/camera/video portion of the work so I got pricing from an AV company for the structured network and music systems to complete their package.

I was immediately impressed with David Mueller of Alarm Engineering as he intently listened to our concerns, wants and needs and within a few days we received a comprehensive systems package proposal that covered exactly what we discussed in detail. Alarm Engineering’s pricing was very competitive but it was their knowledge and understating that made our decision easy, so we went with them and we are glad we did.

Our builder was impressed with their care, expediency and attention to detail as they installed the wiring and the components of the systems. They had a few problems (some were not even caused by them) but they acted quickly and professionally to resolve any issues to keep the project on track.

After a break in at my parents' home I was looking for a reputable company to install a security system for them. I asked 2 different people for recommendations and both referred me to Doug Brown with Alarm Engineering, so I decided to look no further. I contacted Doug and he came out to their house the same day that I called. Doug was so easy to work with, answering all of our questions and putting us at ease. What I thought was going to be a complicated process, couldn't have been easier. He sent the proposal the following day and the installation was scheduled a few days later.
