Phoebe is an amazing stylist and a fabulous person! I was nervous going in to turn my dark roots into platinum blonde, but Phoebe made it happen! She goes above and beyond every time I see her and really listens to my concerns and what I’m hoping to get out of the appointment. I’ve been to numerous places where they do what they think is best and I always leave unhappy. But with Phoebe I’ve always left happy and completely satisfied! After my first appointment trying to go blonde, my hair was still warm and not the right tone. She told me to come back 2 weeks later to finish free of charge! Every other stylist breaks it up into 5 appointments to get the most money possible! This is my new favorite salon in Salt Lake. I've been so impressed with the friendly, accommodating vibe and comfortable retro digs, but most of all, the service. I have long, thick, wavy hair, which can be tricky for many stylists, but at Kings Road my color, cut & style are always done right. I never feel rushed – at some salons, a stylist knows a job isn't perfect, but doesn’t want to take the time to fix it. Not at Kings Road. This is more of a review for Phoebe than the Salon (although the Salon itself is amazing as well). Phoebe has been doing my hair for 3 years now. She is hands down the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. What seems so simple is so easily messed up when you go to a discount barber shop. Phoebe is worth every penny and more.
