Ivy House Weddings and Events — Attraction in Salt Lake City

We had our daughters wedding reception at Ivy House at Western Gardens Downtown in October and it was amazing! We loved the Ivy House! You don't really have do do any decorating if you don't want to because it's already beautiful.

We didn't even know Ivy House existed until I found it online when I was searching for a venue for our daughters wedding reception. They really took care of us and walked us through what we wanted to do for the reception and during the event they took care of us even more. They were there to help all the time, if we needed anything. We can't say enough good about the Ivy House. We would recommend it to anyone and everyone. It's a little treasure in Salt Lake City by Trolley Square.Now we want to tell everyone about it!

Very helpful and professional staff, I got married 2 weeks ago with less than 3 weeks to plan the whole wedding as both my wife and I are in the military. The event planned really helped put the wedding together and the 2 hosts helped rearrange the tables and chairs after the ceremony for the reception. The staff are very friendly as fun to work with and obviously have lots of experience in helping even if under extreme short notice. The hall is very reasonably priced and includes tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces (options shown in picture, you are allowed to bring your own or mix match the options they have), signing book table, cake table (if asked they can assist in cutting and serving the cake, cage for cars security to assist and watch over the parking lot, 1 event planner, 2 hosts, candles some decorations, a beautiful fireplace, good lighting, a kitchen prep area for caters which has a fridge/ freezer, water dispensers, ice, no stove or oven but they have extension cords if needed for crackpots. I had my wedding reception at Ivy House Reception Center in May and I loved it! Everything turned out perfect. I loved that it included the chairs, tables, linens, and there was no extra fee for the dance floor! The big selling point for me was that I got to bring in my own caterer, which saved me a ton of money. We were able to do a whole pasta bar buffet dinner for 300 people for only $600! (Thanks to my aunt who is a genius caterer and a lot of super kind volunteers that helped cook and serve.) I thought the decorations were really classy, the lighting was great for pictures, and it was nice that there were so many parking spaces. It was also super convenient for our wedding guests that came to the ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple to not have to travel super far. They were able to go shopping and hang out downtown and then come straight over to our reception without all of the extra driving and hassle.
