Lalita talked me into a lash lift, and it has been one of my biggest regrets.

I had a groupon to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted. While i was there, lalita had another client who was getting a lash lift. Lalita told me i had "beautiful lashes" and talked me into getting a lift as well.

Immediately after, they looked great. I had never had a lift before and i was genuinely excited. I didnt realize they only looked good because they were wet

By the time i got outside, i was feeling my lashes curl into my eyelid. I went back inside and told her they were over curled. She advised me to come back in 48 hours and she would fix them.

I decided to not return as my lashes began falling out. She seriously fried my eyelashes in a service i didnt even plan to do, she talked me into it.

I seriously regret ever going Lalita's establishment. From everything ive read online, this will take months to recover from.

Dont be fooled by these 5 star reviews, i was also pressured by Lalita to leave a good review, as she asked me to numerous times.

I wasnt even going to leave a bad review but after days of losing my lashes, my confidence is in the toilet and i am very upset about this.

Stay away from this business.

UPDATE: To Lalita's appalling and unprofessional response to my review. She attempted to call me, to which i blocked her number. She then called me restricted on a different line. Actually insane. And then to reply with a blatant lie instead of taking accountability as a business owner that you made a mistake.

Yes, you have photos right after the session that look nice. That is because, as i mentioned in my review, they were still wet. Immediately after walking outside they curled into my eyelid, to which i walked right back inside and told you something was wrong. To which you replied you could try to fix in 48 hours, but shortly after my eyelashes began to fall out.

Lalita is unbelievably unprofessional. Do not believe these reviews. She is highly manipulative and begs for good reviews to cover situations like these which prove she is not a professional and should not be trusted working around eyes.

Not a legitimate business according to the Better...

I was traveling and came to this salon for a lash fill based on the five-star reviews. However, now that I have been there I know why this place has this five-star rating: the owner pressures clients to leave a five-star review on the spot! She even asked me if I knew how to do it and offered to help me before I left. I was embarrassed by the way these lashes looked for the rest of my vacation and now that I am home, my regular lash girl had to remove them and start over. Modern Lashes uses heavy, plastic-like lashes that do not look natural. The entire experience was uncomfortable and awkward. I am leaving this honest review to help others so that they are not fooled by the five-star rating; not everyone can say “no” easily and, while some might be ok with her work, my bet is that many simply went along with the pressure and caved and left the review she pushed for on the spot. She did try to fix them when I was not happy with them (which I appreciated) but I was still ultimately unhappy with the results. Edit: There are many inaccuracies in the owner’s response. I’m not going to address all of them but my lash tech at home is 3X certified, in addition to holding a cosmetology license. She knows what she is talking about and was appalled by this work and lashes I came home with. The fact that Modern Lashes refers to “human hair” as a lash option says it all—that’s not a thing! I should also add that Latisha created so much damage to my lashes (maybe partly from yanking my previous lashes off) that I now have bare spots and all of the lashes had to be removed. rarely write reviews, but I felt I absolutely had to warn others about this lash and brow business. My experience was not just disappointing—it was completely unacceptable. First of all, the service itself was rushed and sloppy. I clearly explained exactly what I wanted for my brows and lashes, but the technician ignored me and did whatever they wanted. The result? Uneven, patchy brows that were way too harsh and lashes that were clumpy, glued together, and completely unnatural. I literally had to go home and try to fix some of it myself because it looked so bad.

On top of that, the staff was extremely rude. When I tried to ask questions or give feedback, they were dismissive, condescending, and acted like I was being unreasonable. There was zero professionalism or courtesy. Overall, it felt like they had no real training or experience, and their attitude made the entire visit extremely unpleasant.

I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and like I completely wasted my time and money. If you care about your brows and lashes—or just basic decency—please avoid this place. There are plenty of professionals out there who actually care about their work and treat their clients...
