To say I have had it with post district is an understatement. I am now actively trying to break my lease and move out asap. I will revise this review should a resolution be found.
To management - My patience has reached its limits. Do not tell me to contact you. You have seen my emails, you know my name and have my phone number. Would it be so hard for you to get in touch with me so we can come to a resolution? Thank you
To prospective residents - “Expect the exceptional”, more like “Except the exceptional”I say jokingly to my girlfriend who spends a lot of time here and has witnessed the outrageous issues I am about to lay out.
I have lived here for less than 4 months and the lock of my front door has malfunctioned 4 times now. Once a month, I have been unable to lock my front door as I was trying to leave. This alone is absolutely mind blowing. We pay for this supposed high tech system and the app is so unreliable that the resident’s front door won’t even lock. Picture this - you’re on your way to work, or catch a flight and your door won’t lock. Good luck to you. My current maintenance request has been in the system for 9 DAYS and it still hasn’t been touched. No word of apology, no phone calls, no emails, absolutely nothing despite my emails and attempts to communicate. My lock was replaced completely on the 3rd occurrence so I am now fully committed to leaving this apartment complex. I cannot afford to spend more time having to worry about this and continue to give any money to this company.
The fire alarms are out of control. There have been at least monthly or biweekly fire alarms, sometimes in the middle of the night. Some of us don’t even bother to leave our homes anymore because it has become so frequent. As always, there have been no general community emails from management, no plans to address it, but most importantly not even a simple apology. Would that be so hard? I simply do not understand the mentality. How can you be so unprofessional and seem to care so little. What kind of message does that send to the residents? Who manages this place? I sent a direct email to the leasing office and did get a response, but nothing has been done since and there have been no follow ups. I and many other residents I have talked to have lost all faith in PD and are actively trying to leave.
Get this - riding the elevator with a leasing office employee, I casually asked about the fire alarms. He said they are working on it and added “you didn’t hear it from me, but the building is so modern that fire cannot travel between units because the fire proofing is so good.” In other words, don’t worry about it, it’s safe. Unbelievable.
The door to the community locker room where people store their bikes and skis has been broken for over a week. No replies to my email inquiry. Hey, we pay a premium for this as well. So should I just stop paying for this then? Will this be prorated from my rent and other fees? What happens if my property gets stolen due to your willful negligence?
Other concerns include the package room that overflows with Amazon packages due to lack of locker space (that we pay for as a part of the amenities), insufficient parking (that we pay extra for) for residents during peak hours due to neighboring businesses and insufficient signage and parking enforcement policies. It would be so easy to improve signage for patrons and then boot cars that are parked at B1 level without a permit. But this right there tells you that the priorities from management are not to make life easy and comfortable for residents, but instead make sure that a constant revenue stream is established through parking fees.
General safety and security is an issue, not just for the locker room but in the community at large. I came home once and walked into a homeless man who was sleeping on the floor in the “locked” stairwell of the north building. I felt really bad for this poor man and made sure he was ok and let him sleep. It is cold outside but as far as I know, post district is not a...

We moved in about 8 months ago and we cannot wait for our lease to end. Important thing to keep in mind through this review, Post District is one of the top 5 most expensive apartment complexes in the city.
When we moved in, they gave us the normal tour and showed us all the amenities. The amenities are the big selling point considering how run of the mill for new housing the units are. The units are nothing special, without patios, appliances that can’t seem to boil water, and ovens that take 45 minutes to get up to temp. So, the amenities were what had us sold.
We were stoked on the amenities and decided to sign a lease. On our first trip to the hot tub, it was ice cold and stayed that way the first week we lived here, and was off and on for the next couple months. That was just the beginning of the f* amenities.
In our time here, the hot tub has worked “sometimes”, the arcade is unusable, the movie theater thermostat is locked to 58° (I’m writing this in January), the fire alarm has gone off an average of more than once a month in the middle of the night in the middle of the week forcing the evacuation of the building. It happens so often that many of the residents don’t even leave the building because the building has cried wolf so many times. People are absolutely going to die here if there’s ever a fire at this point. The last fire alarm was due to an actual fire resulted in our hallway carpet melting. That was over a month ago and the carpet hasn’t been repaired. The walls in the same area have holes in them, and the corners are all smashed. The trash chutes don’t work properly about 85% of the time. Literally 85%. And yet above them are signs threatening $300 fines for leaving trash in the trash rooms with BROKEN TRASH CHUTES. Obviously everyone leaves their trash in there anyways, so they smell like trash and p*. Our stove cannot bring water to a boil. Our oven takes nearly an hour to hit 450°. The dryer is unbelievably loud because of loose parts. The restaurants and bars that were supposed to be “opening in the next couple months” have not seen one single day of construction towards their completion. The brunch place and the ramen place are not going to be open before our 12 month lease ends. Went to the rooftop one morning to get some work done and someone was passed out on the couch under a blanket with beer cans everywhere. People bring glass, food, and alcohol into the pool. The hallways all smell like weed. The grills are disgusting. Vehicles have been broken into in the garage. The arms on the parking garage gates are broken more often than not. Broken like, people ram through them. The Traeger employees use up all the parking during the day, and there’s not enough spaces for residents at night. The internet is INCREDIBLY slow. Slow like, it took a day and a half to download Call of Duty onto my PlayStation, if that gives you any reference.
I could go on and on and on and on. If you talk to someone in the leasing office, they’ll give you their canned “sorry about that, I’ll see what I can do” response, and nothing changes. They don’t care, they don’t do anything, and the company only incentivizes them to sign leases. There’s no incentive to provide a good experience for people actually living here. So they don’t do anything for existing residents.
This place costs as much as a mortgage, and if you own the place, you have a reason and the ability to fix the place yourself. You’re renting expecting everything to be taken care of for you instead of gaining equity. This place is in shambles, the amenities you will fall in love with are a smoke screen that doesn’t work, and the restaurants they’ll tell you are opening soon, will not open ever in your time here.
Save your money and go elsewhere. 4th West is better. Hardware is better. Milagro is better. Avia is better. There are so many better options for living downtown in SLC. Post District ain’t it. “Expect The...
Read moreUpdate: PD your response to this review is shameful. If this truly is a concern that you all would like resolved why don’t you finally respond to the court documents you’ve been sent? They have all of my contact information on them. If you all actually responded to any of my attempts to contact Tiffany we could have resolved this in April.
TL;DR: I moved out of Post District on March 5, 2025 and I have yet to receive my $3,000+ security deposit and portion of last month’s rent as of August 15, 2025. I have served Post District with summons from the SLC Justice Court and a default decision from the judge to which they have not responded. Post District and Bridge Property Management continue to show blatant disrespect for the law and renter’s rights.
On March 5, I moved out of Post District in accordance with the terms of my lease. On March 17, I received my move-out statement which detailed that I would be receiving my full security deposit back. In this check, I was also set to receive a large portion of my last month’s rent, since I had to pay the full month as Post District said their billing system does not prorate it automatically.
On April 2, I called PD to let them know I still had not received the check and they let me know that Emma Aljenabi, the Assistant Property Manager, would call me back. When I still had not heard from Emma by April 9, I called again and sent Emma an email. On April 15 I still had not received any communication from Emma or Post District, so I went to the leasing office to talk to the Property Manager, Tiffany Hughey. Tiffany told me that if I still had not received a check by April 21 that I should contact her and she would have a new one sent. On April 22, I called the office to let them know I still had not received the check and they let me know they would have Tiffany call me back. On April 23, I sent Tiffany an email to let her know as well. In addition, on April 23, I delivered a notice to Kade Riding at the leasing office. The notice stated that, in accordance with Utah Code 57-17-3, owners or owner’s agents are required to return the security deposit to the renter within 30 days of moving out. It also details that if the deposit is not returned with 5 days of the notice, an additional $100 fee is required for violation as by the legal code. On May 1, when I still had not heard from anyone at PD, I sent another email to Emma to let her know that if I had not received a check from PD by May 7 with the total amount owed and the $100 fee, that I would be filing at the SLC Justice Court.
On May 8, I finally heard back from Emma via email that a check would be sent. However, I had already filed in Justice Court by that time and a summons delivered. On May 9, I finally received the check, however it did not include the $100 fee as required by law. Since, I had also now spent $160 on court fees, I moved forward with the court to recoup these court fees and the $100 fee as mentioned above.
On May 9, PD was served with the summons to Justice Court which, by law, they are required to register with the court within 30 days of being served for online dispute resolution. They never responded to the summons or registered with the court, so on June 19, I was granted default judgement and the judge granted me the full amount requested. On July 18, PD was served with this ruling. As of August 15, I have yet to hear from PD or Bridge Property Management regarding...
