We’ve had this place on our list for a while! I think it was TikTok that first introduced us? We’re soft pretzel lovers. Finally made it out (30 minute drive from Riverton). We were going to get four pretzels but it ended up being not that much more to do an assorted box of six instead. We got the Devil’s Delight, BBK, Bootlegger, Plain and 2x Saint. We got the cheese, cream cheese, mustard and hot ranch sauces. All were excellent! I understand a place like this is required to offer a “plain” option, and it was tasty! However, the specialty pretzels really stole the show. The manager there (?) highly recommended doing the pepperoni jack pretzel with their hot ranch (tasted similar to ranch w/frank’s hot sauce) — it was SO GOOD! The BBK was also a favorite. The saint is a solid, good cinnamon pretzel and is not complete without the sweet cream cheese sauce. Overall, super tasty, they nailed the texture, good portions and fair pricing. I just hope they can open another location closer to us and a bit more accessible of a storefront. Thank you!! We’ll spread the word and come back when we can!

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Tried out Dangerous Pretzel for the first time and overall, it was a good experience! The preztels themselves were really well made and flavorful - it not your typical plain dough. There were several different savory and sweet options to choose from and they even sell beer of you dine in! We ordered the Devils Delight and the Sweet talker, both of which came out hot and fresh. The price was a little more than I would have liked to pay, mostly because the dips didn’t already come with the pretzel. By the time you add a dip to any pretzel, you’re looking at just over $8 (nearly Disneyland prices). The staff were nice and the restaurant was clean. A lot of space and a decent amount of seating overall. Nestled in the Post District, parking was a bit different since you have to park in the garage. Luckily they give you validation, but if you forget to ask, it’s an easy $10 fee to get out. Again, overall, good experience worth checking out.

Bro.....broooooo...lol. This was amazing. I was shocked how good these are. We tried the Jealous Ex, Spicy Bee, Bootlegger, and one other that had pepperoni and cheese. They were absolutely top shelf. Paired with a good beer and good company, this spot can't be beat. If you want to host a gig here or a get together, they have plenty of space, and the vibe is super chill so you can't lose. Customer service topped the whole thing off with a big fat cherry. Way to go guys. Two bits of opinion? No deal breakers... Change the sign outside. It says "coming soon". I've been waiting for weeks 😂. Could be my fault for not checking. And make the pickle pretzel more... Pickle. Didn't really taste the thing that made me buy it. Still fire, but I'm a pickle junkie. 100% don't miss. Great spot.

I recently visited a new pretzel shop that just opened, and I am absolutely blown away! From the moment you step inside, you can tell that this place is something special. The first thing that strikes you is how clean and fresh it feels. The entire shop smells incredible—not only from the warm, freshly baked pretzels but also from the spotless cleanliness that radiates throughout the space. It’s clear that they take pride in maintaining a pristine environment, which immediately puts you at ease as a customer.

The modernized design of this place is the perfect blend of trendy and welcoming. With sleek, minimalist decor and a warm color palette, it manages to feel contemporary without losing that cozy, inviting vibe. The lighting is soft yet bright enough to showcase the gorgeous display of pretzels being made fresh behind the counter. It’s the kind of space where you instantly feel comfortable, whether you’re grabbing a quick snack on the go or looking for a relaxing spot to sit down and enjoy a treat. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with a clean, streamlined aesthetic that adds to the overall experience—nothing feels cluttered or cramped, just open and airy.

Now, onto the pretzels—oh my goodness, they are out of this world! Whether you go for the classic salted pretzel or one of their more creative flavors, the quality is unmistakable. The exterior has that perfect golden-brown crispiness, and the inside is wonderfully soft and chewy. Every bite is the perfect mix of textures and flavors. You can tell they use top-notch ingredients and bake everything fresh on-site. It’s the kind of pretzel that instantly reminds you of why you love this simple, delicious snack in the first place.

But what truly makes this shop stand out, beyond the incredible pretzels, is the staff. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The employees are not only professional but genuinely enthusiastic about what they do. They go above and beyond to ensure every customer feels welcomed and taken care of. You can tell that they’ve cultivated a team that truly cares about the customer experience. Even during busier times, they manage the rush with efficiency and grace, making sure each customer is attended to without feeling rushed. They patiently explain the menu, give recommendations, and ensure that everyone leaves satisfied. It’s rare to find such attentive service, and it elevates the whole experience.

The pretzel shop has an amazing energy about it—it’s modern, clean, and full of life. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick snack or staying for a while to soak in the inviting atmosphere, it’s hard to find a single thing to fault. They’ve taken the concept of a traditional pretzel shop and brought it into the modern age with style, all while maintaining that down-to-earth charm. The smell of fresh pretzels baking, the gleaming countertops, and the cheerful staff make this a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

Prices are reasonable, especially considering the high quality, and there are options to suit every appetite. It’s also clear that they’ve put thought into making this a place you’ll want to come back to—whether it’s their customer loyalty program or their flexible menu options. This is one of those spots that feels destined to become a local favorite.

In short, if you’re a pretzel lover, or even if you just appreciate great service and a clean, welcoming space, you need to check this place out. The combination of excellent food, a modern, inviting atmosphere, and a team of amazing staff makes it a standout in the local food scene. This pretzel shop is truly a breath of fresh air, and I can’t wait to visit again!

This version emphasizes the cleanliness, modern design, and outstanding service, while focusing on the...

I'm happy to give this place a warm review as I just finished my pretzel 45 seconds ago. This is a new restaurant and the space is warm and clean. They have an attractive space and a nice looking menu and bar where you order.

The service was excellent. They explained the concept, some changes in the menu, and assured me if my food was too spicy they'd fix it. I was surprised and pleased at their friendliness as this place has a bit of a hipster vibe and sometimes you get an "I don't give a shit about you" vibe from employees at those types of establishments.

Most importantly, to the food. I tried the basic pretzel. If they can't pull that off, I wouldn't care about anything else. I'm happy to say they pull it off. The pretzel was good-sized for $4 and was well-salted and chewy and warm-just as it should be. The dough was salty and chewy and just so much better than you get most anywhere else. The cheese dipping sauce that accompanied it was the perfect amount (for $2-worth every penny) and paired perfectly with the pretzel. It was like if nacho cheese was good or interesting. It had a very interesting flavor I wanted to return to over and over.

All in all, we'll see how they do-they are located in kind of a weird space, but I loved my...

Dangerous Pretzels is easily one of the best pretzel spots in Salt Lake City, perfectly situated in the vibrant and artsy Post District! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the warm, mouth-watering aroma of freshly baked pretzels, which fits right in with the creative energy of the neighborhood. Their inventive take on classic pretzels, paired with unique flavors and delicious dips, truly sets them apart.

Their pretzels are baked to perfection—soft, chewy, and bursting with flavor. I tried the Bootlegger, a savory pretzel topped with Crispy Bacon! Smoky bourbon glaze, and a hint of honey—it was the perfect mix of sweet, salty, and smoky goodness. The Hash Stash, a loaded pretzel topped with crispy hash browns and melted cheese, was the ultimate comfort food.

The staff is friendly, the flavors are bold, and the pretzels are unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors and dips. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or meeting up with friends, the trendy, industrial vibe of the Post District creates the perfect atmosphere to enjoy these delicious pretzels.

Highly recommend if you’re...
