VFW Bar — Local services in Salt Lake City

Classic, old school bar with several great pool tables and a fun stage that has bands and karaoke. The only reason it didn't get five stars from me is one of the bartenders has a serious attitude problem. He 86'd my friend for waiting for me outside and then coming back in. I don't know what he thought was going on, but his behavior was absolutely inexcusable. He put his hands on my friend and threatened him for no reason. Honestly, he seemed like he was on drugs. In this day and age we absolutely could have called the police and filed an assault charge. But we were trying to have a fun night! So we just went...

I have tried to visit this VFW club three or four times in the last few months. I went there yesterday and it was closed for remodeling. The frustrating thing is that the websites related to this bar have no information about those closures. If you read the website you would believe they were open. I'm going to take this club off my list for year or two. As a life member of VFW, that gripes me. I realize that everybody associated with it are volunteers. But somebody ought to take the time to fix the website and tell everybody the freaking...

Wow... so incredibly hot and muggy in here. Face masks are "encouraged" when you're waking around, However, when the bartender thinks no one is looking they were pulling their mask down talking to whomever was sitting at the bar. Great...
