Original review: They just began policy of $10 minimum printing. Also, if a purchase is less than $5, they will charge you $.75. Before the policy change I would gladly buy a candle to increase my purchase and support a small business. Now I have to send my prints elsewhere if I need a quick print job or go in and do it myself. Um, no. This is why corporate shops get my business now. Oh, and, they pay the employees baseline minimum wage which explains why the staff always changes. I asked one of the employees, that's how I know
Their response in case the edit deletes it: Responding to CJBrains review as I am the owner of the Mailpost. I am sincerely sorry you are unhappy with the new minimum print policy for full service print, however, it was designed to allow us to timely complete our high production jobs which the full service print side is designed for. All or most major print companies have the same policy. We have provided a customer computer for use by customers and we don't charge customers to use this computer. Regarding your comments on minimum wage and turnover, you are simply wrong! We pay our employees well above minimum wage. Most of our employees have been with us for more than 1-2 years and two of our employees have worked for us for over 10 years. We get compliments daily on the quality of service and employees we hire. We value all our customer's business and once again, sorry you have such a strong disagreement about our new policy which is designed to improve our efficiency and service level.
My edit: Employees told me beginning pay is $11 "something". A few cents more allows the claim you pay higher than the lowest minimum wage. Taco Time pays more at $13 to teenagers. If everyone has been there so long why have I not once seen the same faces there? I've lived here two years. A couple of long term employees are typical in most places. They usually are in the management level and have what they need to feel comfortable enough to stay. The rest are probably students who leave after a year of being able to reflect having a job in one place for a stretch.
Improving efficiency is one thing if anyone is ever actually printing a job when I've been in there. Each time I've been in, there has been little to no activity except at the mailing station. This policy reflects the minimum purchase of $5 or be penalized with a $.75 charge to have the pleasure of spending money at your establishment. It is based on what is profitable, not based on taking care of customers. Staples takes my email, does not charge anything for a minimum purchase and has my prints ready to pick up. Again, in the past I was happy to buy a candle or something to raise the price and support a small business local to me but being turned away because I was not at first glance spending enough to satisfy you is not good customer service and does not encourage repeat business. I'll happily drive further away for what I need, no matter how small or large my purchase may be. I hope others read this and consider that only the most profitable customers will (maybe) not be turned away if they need a few prints and don't have the time to go in and do it themselves, and then pay a penalty if the purchase isn't high enough. You must be hurting pretty bad or just plain greedy to turn away customers over a few cents...

I wanted to see if there's anything the store can help me with proving that I have deposited the package and made the effort to return. Because Amazon wouldn't refund me without seeing a tracking info. However I was shocked by the extremely rude attitude by the store manager on duty that Saturday Apr17. He literally threw other people's package to my face when making his point that he's not responsible for any drop offs if they are missing. And he refused to offer any kind of help to the helpless customer who is only trying to get some support from the shop we once trusted to drop off our packages. I asked him if he could pull out the security footage to proof that I did return or UPS did pull away my big box away from the store that day. He yelled at me and said NO WAY. He said he doesn't care about those drop offs. I felt extremely offended and felt sorry for the rest of the young men and women there who have been very nice...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI regret ever getting a mail box here. First I kept having to give them mail that ended up in my box and didn't belong to me... makes me wonder if my mail is in someone else's box. These boxes are VERY expensive , I should have used the US post office. I went in twice to make sure the transition would be a smooth one as I no longer needed the box and was moving. I asked both times, is there anything I need to do besides hand in the key? No, just hand in the key and your box will be canceled. They NEVER explained how I would be getting my mail at my new address!! Yes I understand I signed a contract but, it is not clear to those of us that have never used this poor service. Why wouldn't they explain this upon closing your mailbox? I will have to make one more trip over there to get that straightened out. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO MAKE THINGS SIMPLE ON YOUR CUSTOMERS... moving...
