My mother in law bought a furniture set thru their finance company (synchrony). She wanted to cancel the protection portion of the purchase, which according to synchrony is possible. The owners son, Christian refuses to help out and insists she accepts the full order as is. She has tried reasoning over the phone with him but he absolutely refuses to change the order or cancel it and we’re having to file a dispute with the finance comp that’ll take 60 days. What should’ve been a smooth, easy order has turned into a mess. I am disputing and am awaiting the results. Either way I’m canceling and will never do business here again.
UPDATE I give great reviews when warranted and 1 star ratings just the same. I’m not interested in other customers experiences or how long you’ve been in business, etc, etc. My mother in law’s experience has been quite the opposite. I’m glad to hear you take defamation seriously, good for you. Customer service is something we take seriously. Discounts and other options as you stated were not offered. Either way, a discount wasn’t what was being sought. Removal of the protection plan was requested, and per the finance company that’s something that could be done. However the in store sales team failed to order the furniture item on time causing a 3.5 month delay with no explanation nor compensation. Also, the "American made" product we were sold clearly states made in Vietnam. If the furniture lasts I'd be willing to shop here again, but if the furniture wears out quickly I will revise this review and let others know. Updated after your email response. We were told that this recliner brand was made in America which is why we were willing to pay more for this item. As for tariffs causing the delay, the actual starting date for the tariffs that stuck was April 2, 6 weeks after the order. We were told the recliner would be here in 4-6 weeks.
