I was treated really poorly simply went in to exchange a tape measure (this is not the first time iv done this exchange) that had lifetime warranty by Hercules the cash register woman was short and chubby I asked for an exchange and she thought I mentioned refund so she blamed me and my choice of wording.. then she kept repeating “you gotta do better than that”like it’s my job to do her job??.. I then asked to speak to a manager and she refused to get her she said “I’m the lead I don’t need to get my manager” she got me so angry and frustrated I hope I’m able to get this resolved I really like the tape measure I wish they would chose there employees...

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about going into Harbor Freight. I had always heard that it was sort of second rate and the customer service was not that good. I have to say that I am very pleasantly surprised. There were several employees there on a Saturday during what I would consider off-peak hours. I was asked if I needed help at least twice. The selection there was larger than I would have thought and the store was very bright and very clean and very well organized. If it wasn't so far away, I would probably go more often; however, I will definitely think of this store first when I need something...
