Went there, ate the sampler plate, the ham was great, sausage links were the type that I liked, the bacon was thin, crispy but still tender, the scrambled eggs were good, not dry. The hashbrown was good though I would recommend to plan out how you eat it, I stared in the center and eventually at the end I was eating the crisp part of the hashbrown only, which was good when you eat it with rest of the hashbrown, but on it's own it made me aware that I was eating the burnt(not really burnt but browned) part of the hashbrown. The marshmallow hot chocolate had a sweetness I didn't enjoy much, so I only drank half of it. I eventually found out they added a chocolate liquor to it, might have given the reason for the type of sweetness I didn't like. The OJ had some pulp, but it was good OJ, the pulp wasn't thick and I forgot about it (thanks to the hot chocolate) until I reached the end and realize it had pulp as I drank the last drop. Almost forgot, ordered that pumpkin pancakes, didn't really tasted like pumpkin It was a light orange color color, but there wasn't any flavor of pumpkin (though the only other time I eat pumpkin is pumpkin pie) the pancake may have needed to be cooked a little longer for the center to be nice and fluffy though it may have been the butter that made it mushy, and have a somewhat undercook texture. The pancake underneath had a similar feel but not as much, though eating the edges of the pancake was delicious. Did you know that the OJ cost 10¢ more than the coffee? Didn't try the coffee, my friend did. Didn't ask about it, but they kept drinking it. Nice staff, had no idea where to pay, turns out there was a register right next to us. Thought I had to go to the front to pay. Overall, nice place, came early on the weekday and was seated quickly. Took awhile for the food to come but...

My meal - and the entire day - was ruined by the waitress - Maria G. - asking if she could hug me as she swooped in for a very aggressive full body grab. When I told her not to do that because we are in the middle of a pandemic, she blew of my concerns with "It's OK. I have my shots".
I notified the manager, who said "he would talk to her". No! What he needs to do is fire her for her behavior. Grabbing a customer without their consent is NEVER appropriate, pandemic or not.
I notified the local health department, who will be investigating.
Now I have to wait a couple of days before I can get a COVID test.
Almost 2 years of isolating, social distancing, making sure I was vaccinated, etc. gone to waste because someone had to impose herself on me.
Also - was it just me, or did she do this to others?
So now the manager has to make a decision - does he allow Maria to keep working there? If he keeps her, he's saying she is more important than the customers.
Update: Spoke to the district manager, "Sunny", who said she has been testing daily and has exhibited no symptoms, so he thinks "everything is OK".
when I queried him about the testing, he said she is taking the at-home tests. When I asked if she is bringing in the results, he never really answered. In other words - no.
I told him he was just trying to run out the clock and that was BS.
In a nutshell - IHOP does NOT care about its customers.
So - there are several 24/7 eateries nearby - Jim's, Denny's, Las Palapas, and Taco Canana - each within .5 - 2 miles from this place. 3 of them are local chains, which are much more vested in keeping the...
Read moreSTAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I took my family here to have breakfast. The server we had was worthless as we couldn't even get our drinks refilled by the time we had all finished our meal. With that being said our bill was 70 bucks, so we pay it with our card and the waitress brings us back our ticket and it was 85 dollar's on the ticket. When we told her that was ours she said sorry and went back and redid the ticket for 70 and not the 85. BUT! They charged us already for the 70 dollar ticket then instead of just refunding the 15 dollar over she recharged, no she charged us the original ticket also. So we paid 155 dollars for our meal. Then when we asked for the manager this guy comes out with a black t-shirt on and says oh it will be refunded back on your card by 4am. I said ok if you would please put that on the receipt and put your name on it. He then proceeded to tell me NO, and that his name is on the receipt and walked it off. At this point I'm heated because who goes out to eat somewhere and be treated like this? We then called the general manager and he told us that there was nothing he could do. We then called the cooperate office and were told the same thing that there is nothing they could do.
We are now in communication with an Attorney as because of the double charge our account has went negative and now there are multiple over draft fees caused because of this. Now they will end up with not just our over charged bill but attorney fees, court fees, late fees and compensation. So i hope they are happy with their horrible...
