Whataburger — Restaurant in San Antonio

My Husband got home late from work and we thought it would be nice to try the food delivery ( door dash) from the Whataburger off 151 as this is the location we normally go to. We got our food and it was cold ( which I was kinda expecting anyway really not too big of a deal. We ordered 2 meals with triple meat/cheese/bacon both meals with fries and an extra large onion ring for my Husband. This was for 3 people. (Why we ordered the extra onion ring. )food was colkd and only rec. One order of fries and the onion rings tasted like they had been fried then cooled and fried again in very old oil. They were gross. I called the location and spoke with William/Matthew? Mgr. HAfter me asking if they could simply remake our order so we could drive up there to get it. He was not very friendly or willing to help and said they were closung in 30 minutes. We live close so I told him we would be there shortly and asked him if he would like my order # so he could start making the order. He replied no!! So we get there place the order at the drive thru and Selena says You brought the order back right?? Which of course we did. They were extremly ruid after ordering for delivery and mand.tip of $10 bucks had to then get in our car go back and get the order anyway and it was still wrong!!! We got the burger and fries... no onion rings which were paid for. What a horrible experience after a long day at work. Not even " hey sorry the order was wrong and you had to come back up heee after ordering delivery. The mgr. And selena were extremely rude. Will not use this...

We've lived down the street from here for over a decade and this Whataburger used to be pretty awesome. Not so much anymore, most Notably recent 2 months. Food is now always either missing something or swimming in onions (which we always ask for none of). Past 2 times we used curbside, it's an easy 30+ minute wait for food.

Today I had to get off the car and go check in the order after 25 minutes of waiting. A man looked through some bags on a shelf. Near the floor, founds our, tossed fries in and handed it to me and walked off. I checked the burgers and yup, feeling cold. A woman asked if everything was OK and I told her the food had just been sitting there idk how long but by now it had been 30 minutes. She said well it must have been under a warmer. I pointed where it was and that the food was cold and she said oh we'll remake it.

So I sat waiting again, cause at least if I'm waiting at this point 45+ minutes for 2 burgers and fries I want good hot food. Then, of course, we get home and onions galore, missing cheese, such a frustrating experience. I called and called and no one is picking up.

Curbside here is a joke and if they forget food on random bottom shelves that you have to go in to get yourself, this should be done away with and just ask you to go through drive thru instead.

Idk what changed recently but it's NOT for the better. If you customize anything, definitely check it before you leave and make...

Just had the worst experience at this whataburguer.

I placed my order at 5:54pm amd people ordered after me.

I was skiped and 4 people got their orders. Big ones and I still hadnt got mine. I complained and a female went to the back and came out and said they are working on it right now...

5 munutes later an order with like 4 burguers came out for someone else.

I still had not gotten my order. Talked to the manager and told him my situtaion people around me where mad at them because of this issue and where standing up for me!

Finally got my order and it was wrong when I went back to the car. Came back in and told the cashier that it was not made correctly and I was missing the extra meat and the jalapeños.

The cashier goes to the back and talks to another female on the line and they start laughin as they look at me... they finally brought out my order.

The cashier and the other female where both African American and I was in uniform!!!!

I strongly believe they discriminated against me and did it on purpose to screw me over for being military coming to their store....

I WILL NEVER EVER EVER BE RETURNING TO THIS WHATABURGUER AND MAYBE TO ANY OTHER ONE EVER!!!! I WILL BE LOOKING INTO...
