Trudy's Hallmark Shop — Local services in San Antonio

Not a good experience. The kids working behind the counter didn't welcome me or help me. When taking photos of certain items that interest me, all I heard was them giggling and whispered about me taking pictures. Can't understand why they can notice that but not even offer to help assist me. They were to busy socializing and talking about what they had for lunch. I had never seen so many employees behind the counter all at once, there were about 5 to 6 people at the cash register all wearing disney ears and mini backpacks. I understand they're all friends but there is a time and place for work and socializing. I work as a Human Resource Manager so the expectation of work ethic are something I'm always looking for. Especially just being welcoming and helpful to customers who are shopping for certain items. Always enjoyed shopping at hallmark but I will not make this location my store and it happens to be the one...

Love love LOVE shopping here . One of the few places where they tell I so much about rewards and benefits . I can not stop coming to this location. The staff is AMAZING. I got so much help with getting the perfect teacher appreciation gifts and cards and so much more. They have the cutest things and always have great deals running , staff very friendly and help as much as possible goin above and beyond . I agree with a previous reviewer. I am a middle aged caucasian woman and I am badgered to death with asking if I could be helped just this past Saturday. I mean really, I can navigate my way through this small Hallmark store. This store has a small collection of gifts and their ornament are all spread out not on one wall as most other gold crown stores.Wish they had a larger selection of gifts.
