My wife Glenda and I have been coming to shows since you all were still in the Rivercenter Mall. On average we attend 2-3 shows a month.
Last weekend at the Damon Wayans show (3/5 - 9:45PM), we saw one of the worst pre show line management performances ever. My wife and I showed up at 7:45 and were the 4th couple in line waiting to get into the show. The line got longer and started to do its normal curl.
Around 9:30, Damon was late in finishing up, but there were 3 groups of people (8 women, 4 people in bathroom) who showed up and cut everyone in line. They were inside the building next to the checkin counter. We complained to the staff that these women cut in line and others were waiting in the bathroom to cut as well.
The staff did absolutely nothing about it. They didn’t ask the women to go back outside or did not do temp checks on them. All of your staff (the gent with the British/Australian accent as well) knew and were told many times by the people that showed up early the women cut.
I was so dissatisfied with how it was handled. Your staff didn’t even apologize to those who were cut in line. I expect that in the future you all find a way to handle these situations better. Hire security to monitor the line. We are seriously rethinking attending shows in the future because of how poorly the situation was handled. Clifton Simmons was working that night as a server. He witnessed this embarrassing mess.

Read moreWAIT STAFF CONS CUSTOMERS INTO DOUBLE TIPPING!!!! Pretty disappointed at the deception by staff members. I've been coming here for years, never in groups more than 4, but I don't think I'll ever go back after my most recent experience.
My wife and I attended a show this past weekend and ordered an appetizer and several drinks at the table. When we received the bill, our total for food and drink was approximately $65, but there was an $11.97 added to our tab labeled "Service Charge." With tax, our tab came out to be over $80. When we inquired to our waitress what it was, she explained that, "there's a 5% charge for using a card, and the rest goes to the performers."
We looked at the menu and did not see anything regarding an added service charge. We spoke to her supervisor who then explained that the service charge was for plates and napkins... We could not believe that an establishment would create such a charge.
I did some simple math and found that our service charge came out to be exactly 18% of our subtotal, which means the wait staff added in their own 18% gratuity and still left the "tip" portion of the receipt blank, therefore to encourage double tipping and ripping off customers.
When we spoke to a manager, he gave us a third reason stating that it's a new charge implemented by new owners and was unsure of what it was for.
It is obvious that the staff is ripping off customers with a bogus 18% charge, that I understand should be added for large groups, but for 2 people is sickening. I find this practice of ripping customer off to be despicable and I would like to warn future patrons of the wait staff's...
