Read moreSCAM ALERT: They advertise a rewards program. After you get 500 points ($500 purchased), you get a $10 gift card. In April I had 499 points and asked whether I could buy some more items and get the gift card. The rude girl at the counter replied" NO YOU HAVE TO COME BACK" I went to the store a couple of days ago and purchased a case of mangoes $11.99. Paid for it and saw the points stayed at 499. When I asked she replied, that they don't qualify for the rewards program. So I asked her to ring up couple more items to get the total past $500. I paid for the purchases and my receipt showed 507 points. I then asked the cashier to give me the gift card. Again, very rudely she said NO YOU HAVE TO COME BACK AGAIN . We will give you the card with your next purchase. I told her that this is exactly what she told me in April. I asked to talk to the owner and her curt reply was " He is not here" Manager Not here. There was an elderly lady working there also. She interrupted our conversation and told me " We will not give you the gift Card" You have to come back again. Seems like they are trained to deceive customers and falsely tell them to come back to purchase more items and then they will give you the card. I showed them both the receipt with 507 points and asked them "When do you give the gift card to customers? Reply was "When you reach 500 points" I once again showed them my receipt with 507 points ($507 purchased) and asked one more time . You are telling me that you give the card when I get 500 points. I have crossed 507 points. Why aren't you giving me the gift card. Their rude reply again WITH NO EXPLANATION WAS " YOU HAVE TO COME BACK AND PURCHASE MORE ITEMS" and then you will get it on your next visit. (completely without logic, false advertising, deceptive marketing practises) Are they going to pay for my gas to keep coming back to their store from 30 miles out ???????? Called the next day and asked to speak to the owner. Again he was not there. So with an absentee owner who has no idea how his repeat customers are being treated, I wonder how long the business will survive. The employees working there are very rude, no manners or courtesy to talk to customers and no clue about good customer service. THIS IS A MATTER OF PRINCIPLE. Don' scam customers with bait and switch tactics. Your business won't survive with poor customer service, rude employees and FALSE ADVERTISING. Hope the owner replies back with a logical and mathematical explanation as to " WHY i CAN'T GET A GIFT CARD, WHEN MY RECIEPT CLEARLY SHOWS 507...
My first visit. I went with a couple of friends the prices are good and there's a lot of interesting Indian Cuisine to choose from and in this Plaza there's a bunch of related in see businesses that cater to Indians for people that like Indian products.
My second visit May 31st 2018 I came in at a slow time of day around 5 when traffic is really heavy in the area there was only one other customer in the store she was Indian and her kid was like 4 years old? The cashier completely ignored me which was an older Indian woman and the customer with the kid the kid kept crying for some type of candy and finally the woman behind the register help them find it and it went on so long and it was so ridiculous I felt like I was on the set of a Bollywood movie and not a good Bollywood movie either. I say this to warn others that might be offended by this type of scene to me it wasn't really a big deal I came in for some yams and a & Indian toothpaste which I really like that I got last time called Vicco it's $5.99 in the 200 gram size on Amazon it was $12 and I'm like I'm not going to pay double I'll just...

Update :this place I found out has a good collection of Pooja items ( items used for Hindu worshipping ). Better than other Indian groceries . Their snack collection also seemed to have improved . They have steel utensils that you can purchase as well. They are connected to BAPS swami Narayan temple in LA so if you want to order delicious food from BAPS they will do so and deliver fresh to you ( for party catering or even otherwise ) . Big thumbs...
