In May 2025, my five-day Carnival cruise to Mexico was a total letdown, and Carnival lost me as a loyal gold member with over 30 days at sea. At check-in, they took my expensive Bluetooth speaker—costing as much as the cruise—because of some policy change on their website, since speakers were fine before. When I got back, they couldn’t find it, told me to file an online report, and then closed my case after months with no answers.
