Waterfront Park Playground — Attraction in San Diego

Beautiful parks on both the North and South sides as well as a great playground on the South side. There is even rock wall style equipment and a huge slide.

There are helpful and happy government employees, patrolling security guards, a little cafe, and clean restrooms! All of this comes together as contemporary style grounds that has had some recent updates in the 2020’s.

There are many public concerts and festivals on the grounds as well. The fountain is usually full of children playing in the hotter months.

This has become one of my favorite places in San Diego! It’s a perfect location for a Courthouse Wedding / Civil Marriage.

Nice park overall well-equipped for both kids and adults, and the view is amazing. It’s just a 5-minute walk from my apartment, so we come here often. My little one loves the fountains — it’s his favorite part!

That said, it’s not always perfect. It can get really noisy, especially when they’re building temporary stages or setting up for public events. The loud sound systems can be overwhelming, especially for young kids. And when the fountains are turned off (which sadly happens more often than I’d like), it’s a real letdown, my kid gets super bummed every time.

This park is amazing its located 1400-1496 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA 92101. Great place to sit back and watch your kids play.. On one side the water front park you will need bathing suits. On the Otherside you have a park, thats more like fun zone and obstacle course. Kids have so much fun here. I recommend ages 0-12 other ages may not be so intested in it. For snack there is a snack place next to the bathrooms and there prices rage from .50c to 15 very affordable. Snacks to canopies rental.
