This place did not disappoint!! This is my second time & it was as good as the first! You have to try the crab & shrimp fondue! It’s the best ever! Whole reason why I came back! The restaurant is perfectly situated on the water both times I sat outside for the water. The service is excellent & so is the food & drinks! I had the passion margarita. We also had the free bread both of course & the coconut macadamia shrimp. Everything was great! I highly recommend this restaurant! #beachfrontrestaurant #SanDiego #brigantineseafoodandoysterbar

If I I could give this restaurant a ZERO STAR, I would.

First of all, let's start that we came down here for a vacation and a birthday celebration all the way down from OC, and we walked in to this beautiful restaurant, but unfortunately our dinner was ruined.

When we walked in, we let the host know that our birthday girl has sea food restrictions and Allergies as well, and if there is anything that they can do to substitute the seafood entrees, perhaps they let us knew that they do have. Once we were sat down at our table, the waitress was very rude about the substitution that host let us know about, yet she tried to refuse the birthday girl wishes. I understand that we had a lots of special request, like taking a bacon off or getting pork out since we Muslims.

For the starters we got the shrimp cocktail, but right after the dinner the 3 of us got sick from it. For the entrées, everyone got their different entree including the chicken Alfredo, which was refused to serve at fist, and then coming with extra dried and burnt chicken. We also asked for 2 wagyu burgers, and were asked how we would like it to be prepared; however, the burgers came in rare condition.

When we tried to explain everything to the waitress, she didn't even acknowledge the mistakes or didn't even bother to apologise for the inconveniences that were made, but she was very fast to bring her manager down to us. Shot out the good manners of the manager and conflict resolution. He was nice enough to apologise and take out the items that were not touched at alll. The customer service shouldn't end with the time when the bills are paid.

Right after the dinner, one of the guests from my party started feeling sick, and the waiter that served us came into the whole mess that happened in the bathroom, besides the glass of water they didn't offer anything else. And upon the leaving the restaurant, the manager didn't even bother to talk to us right after the waitress had reported of this situation.

Conclusion: 3 people sick, birthday party weekend ruined, vacation ruined. Wouldn't Recommend...

Great atmosphere with nice views, especially if you get a table outside. There are heaters at nearly every table in case it gets a little chilly at night. With that said, the food is mediocre and the service is terrible. Waiter takes a while to come around, because they also had him wrapping up the utensils/silverware in the back during service.

I ordered the swordfish entree which is supposed to come with risotto and broccolini (one of their most popular dishes), EXCEPT mine came out WITHOUT any risotto (see my photo below)! My wife ordered the scallops entree, but 3 of the 5 scallops were burnt (over seared)! So we had to send our food back. Manager brought out the replacements after a while of waiting again -- no mentions/offers to compensate for the issues. The food is cooked right this time, but flavors are very forgettable. The risotto can also be creamier. The grilled octopus appetizer was also just ok -- the octo itself is decent, but the sauce and everything on the plate was too salty.

When I got the check, again no offer or mention from the waiter to make things right from the food issues, so I asked if they're gonna do anything at all to compensate for the bad experience? He asked if we wanted a free dessert, which I said no because I don't want to spend more time there after having been there for a long time already. He then asked me what I wanted to make things right, so I told him at least discount one of the entrees (which I thought was a fairly reasonable ask). After he goes to talk with the manager about it, he comes back saying he can discount an appetizer. Not wanting to haggle, I just agreed, paid my bill and got out of there expeditiously.

I do NOT recommend this place to anyone, unless you just want to take in the bayfront views with a drink, or a simple appetizer that's hard to mess up.

Also, parking lot is likely to be full on weekend nights. If you do find a spot, it's $20 for 3 hours. Or you can valet for around the...

The dishes were absolutely delicious, clean plate club!! We had one of the specials, blacked seabass with bacon wrapped scallops & jumbo stuffed shrimp with crab & wrapped in bacon! Wanted to try the crab & lobster fondue but our waiter didn't catch our order? Decent priced & good portions.

Although the food was amazing, location great and the atmosphere overall nice. Newer & beautiful decor.. all were tarnished by the staff & cleanliness.. the booth in which we were seated was at the end of the row..One of the seats backed the service station, not an issue however when it more than a location to place orders and becomes a place for staff to conjugate to gossip & complain at hearing level that's a problem (I have worked retail & food service) I highly recommend a half wall or a different location for the kiosk?! I would much rather see a half wall then see & hear what we did during the course of our meal again. When seated a tray, a dirty one at that was on the ledge. The tray remained for 20 minutes with 20 plus staff walk by, if not repeatedly. Also while placing guests orders, I may add. The conversations were a bit much ranging from the managements poor shooting skills, a 91? Cmon you can do better if you put your mind it, both at work & outside, the heat & lack of the air being on, profanity.. "eff ya" to the new servicer that started that evening. Poor guy looked like a deer in highlights a few times, we wish you luck.

The wall/ledge- with fish heads umm.... Love, future home decor? :) But I would dust the ledge..for starters. When seated noticed the dust instantly, this is a restaurant, I don't care to have the human flesh seasoning available in eye sight? A user tooth/food pick in a nearby booth was there when we arrived and remained during our stay.

Again, food amazing. Hopefully they take notes.. tidy up the place & staff. Happy & attentive staff, more money in your pockets and more food in my stomach plus a...
