Amanda Gille is hands down the best apartment manager Iāve ever hadāand thatās saying a lot coming from a New Yorker with plenty of apartment living experience.
From the moment you walk into the building, Amanda greets you with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. She has a remarkable ability to make every resident feel seen, heard, and welcomed. Her positive energy is contagious, and she's created a vibrant, friendly atmosphere that truly sets this community apart.
Amanda goes above and beyond her roleānot only is she highly professional and exceptionally organized, but she also takes the time to plan fun and thoughtful community events that bring residents together and foster a real sense of belonging. Whether itās a building-wide social or a small gathering, her attention to detail and creative spirit always shine through.
She listens to resident concerns with empathy and care, and if thereās ever an issue, you can count on Amanda to be on it immediately. Her follow-through is unmatched, and she consistently demonstrates a level of dedication thatās rare to find.
Living in this beautiful boutique building in Little Italy is a dream, and Amanda is a huge reason why. Sheās truly the heart of the community, and I feel incredibly lucky to have her as our manager.
Thank you, Amanda, for your commitment and dedication to making Cielo such a vibrant and welcoming community in the heart of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSigned a 14 month lease, been here about a year.
Pros: small building, open air hallways, stunning views of the harbor, several electric car charging stations, proximity to bars/restaurants.
Cons: zero guest parking (have to risk parking in handicap parking spots) disappointing property management, canāt guarantee more than one parking spot per unit (regardless of # of bedrooms), outdoor hallways can flood due to inadequate drainage (annoying to pay $5k/month and have to drag dirty water into apartment), building going up on harbor side - construction/view obstruction will be a nightmare, airport/train track noise (need a loud white noise machine at all times), very porky thought out building design with flaws that are forgivable when renting rather than owning. Didnāt deliver on several move in promises (ex Dog wash). Single elevator for the whole building makes move-in/move out days challenging for those moving and for everyone else.
Overall would say the view was the main attractant. Frustrating interactions with management/ownership ultimately resulted in our decision to not renew. GreyStar has now cycled their third full time manager through the building in one year. I think the individual general managers have been doing the best they can with what slack theyāre given by their local corporate managers. One can only speculate why the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreChase and Joe, two of the folks on the management team at Cielo Little Italy, are working hard to cultivate an amazing culture here at the complex, and it really shows. They stepped into a pretty big mess when they joined the team, but progress is still progress, and I definitely want to applaud their hard work here with an updated review.
There are a few issues with construction still, but Chase, the leasing manager, is always quick to help and resolve issues. Things aren't perfect, but you can tell they're trying their best, especially as a property management team. We see all the hard work, and we appreciate it!
The MVP Award of the apartment complex goes to Joe, our awesome maintenance man. He's just awesome and a good human all around. He genuinely cares about your experience at Cielo and goes above and beyond every time. Cielo Apartment is lucky to have both Chase and Joe on the team.
We are currently still waiting for our apartment patio to be fixed, which unfortunately, has taken months. We still don't have a concrete answer when this will be completed. I raised this issue many, many months ago and Construction and Ownership hasn't even begun working on it. I'm hoping this gets resolved before the rain starts again...
