Fancy Stop — Local services in San Diego

I was invited to an Indian wedding, and while I had been given a saree at some point, the blouse that came with it did not fit me. What made the problem of finding a blouse more difficult was that it is a single shade of green that is very hard to match. Sridevi did an excellent job of showing me potential blouses that could go with it. And we did find three potential candidates, one of which was a light blue patterned blouse that I would not have had on my radar, but which turned out to be a very nice match and also a perfect fit. She also showed me some matching earrings. They also had very nice bangles in various colors and designs, but since i have fairly wide hands, I did not find any that I liked and that fit me. I typically do not leave reviews, but my experience at Fancy Stop deserved one. Sridevi was so helpful and kind when I came into the store 30 minutes before it was about to close. I explained my desperate situation and that I was flying out of town in two days for an event. She patiently worked with me to find the perfect outfits. My late arrival to the store meant that she had to stay open 30 minutes past closing, which meant that other people kept coming in to shop because they did not realize that the store was technically closed, but Sridevi extended kindness and grace to those customers as well. I was so grateful for her kindness and she even made sure that the minor alterations that were needed were done by the next day! I had a last minute Indian wedding to attend, and Poonam graciously helped me make this possible. She assisted in picking out the right colors and garments according to the invitation. She was incredibly kind and patient and made the experience so positive. She was able to get me in for an alteration the very next day, which was done by Swapna. Both women were helpful, kind, and skilled at their work. I was impressed by Swapna’s seamstress ability and have never had such a smooth experience shopping.
