NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE!!!! DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! ZERO RESPECT TOWARDS IT’S OWN CLIENTS!

I have been renting with this company for YEARS! This must have been my 7th or 8th time! Something recently turned south for this company. The boat had a newly installed Jerry Rigged kill switch that didn’t allow me to re start the engine as we were drifting toward a $500,000 yacht! Luckily myself and 9 other friends on the pontoon were able to avoid collision with the yacht by pushing ourselves off the yacht using our hands! No damage was done to the yacht, because we literally put our bodies between the two vessels, tho’ its owner decided it was a hit and run and decided he’s going to make a claim on my insurance for some old and existing scuffs he had near his anchor ⚓️ retraction area!

The “lovely” employee Kyle at the boat rental company took sides with the greedy yacht owner & said he already saw the damage that we did to the yacht (tho’ miraculously no damage occurred to the rinky dink pontoon).

Then when I proceeded to go and talk to the owner of the yacht, to explain to him that the boats never touched each other, Kyle (“The operation manager?!?”) hit his chest against mine and stopped me from proceeding to walk and talk to the greedy yacht owner….

After talking on the phone with TAYLOR, the owner of the company and explaining to him what happened, he refused to take any responsibility to his employee’s behaviour & for the hidden kill switch they added, that in cases of an emergency like we had, was easy to forget about it’s hidden location! That ruined our whole party, and the whole recent labor day weekend! Taylor also refused to give any compensation for the expensive rental!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T RENT FROM THESE UNACCOUNTABLE PEOPLE! They will rush to take anyone else’s side but yours as their client, and not only won’t back you up, might physically...

What an incredible experience- from the beginning to end. The beginning starts with me calling and crossing my fingers for availability that same week.. Planning any sort of event during a pandemic is difficult, as the majority of us are facing in 2020. With new closures and restrictions, my initial plans were cancelled which left me scrambling to find something fun to do for my 29th birthday the weekend before. I researched, and read countless articles & reviews and within one review, I learned of a company in Mission Beach, CA called Hot Tub Cruisin. The pictures and raving reviews led me to call first thing Monday morning. Bri called me back not even a minute later, letting me know there was a last minute cancellation on my birthday, July 17, 2020. I immediately booked it. From that call through check-in, to hopping on the boat, Bri's customer service was outstanding. She made us all feel welcomed, put us at ease and taught us how to navigate the boat, and had a wonderful friendly personality. The actual hot tub boat was so much fun! We rented the smaller out of the two available boats, for 2 hours. If possible, I would recommend booking as far in advance as possible and booking the max time, as you'll find that you will not want to leave the fun. We all had such an incredible time, and I feel so fortunate that the pieces fell into place and I was able to celebrate my birthday in such an amazing way. I'm happy to be able to leave my own raving review. We've already started discussing when we can book another excursion. Thank you to Hot Tub Cruisin, can't wait...

Can I just give -ve stars 👎 This was our second time getting the hot tub cruise from Mission bay. We did it last summer and we had a lady who handled everything explained all of it us and it was one of the best. but this time I don’t know why did it go so bad. So we were asked to stay away from the shores which we obviously understand and we were quiet far from the shore and then suddenly we get a text from “James” asking us to stay wherever we are and he is coming to check. Which really didn’t make any sense to us. He came and accused us of going too close to the shore and damaging the prop. I mean if we would be that close we would hear something/ see some sand / nothing happened. We think that was something already there and they just charged us for something we haven’t done. We really feel like we got scammed and cheated. They really wanted an easy money and ripped us off $500 for prop changing and labour. And the only thing he showed us was the prop color has chipped and we feel since we don’t know much about the situation we were cheated on. The owner didn’t bother to listen to us even a bit. He just didn’t care about what we were saying. Hated every bit of it and ruined our fun.

I would stay away from someone who would charge an arm for such a small thing. Do yourself a favor and get paddle board or something else. And make sure you check everything and take pictures yourself before looking at theirs. Don’t believe...
