We booked a paddle boat cruise with Paddle Pub on Black Friday and initially had a great experience. Kyle, who arranged the deal for us, was very professional, and we loved the crew and the cruise through the bay—it was truly memorable.

However, after returning to our resort, Kyle contacted us saying the price needed to be increased by $250, claiming the number of people was more than agreed upon. This was surprising since we had rented the whole boat, and the number of people should not have been an issue. Despite our clear agreement on the budget, Kyle insisted on charging the card on file without prior approval.

While we don’t mind paying for quality services, changing a deal after it’s been finalized is disappointing and unprofessional. A deal should be honored, especially when the terms were agreed upon beforehand.

Unfortunately, this left a sour note on what was otherwise a wonderful experience. I’d advise future customers to clarify all terms in writing to avoid similar issues. I am sad a 5 stars review company does something like that!

We left 11 minutes late from the dock even though we were there well before the recommended time. Our engine stopping working 5 minutes into the trip so we floated in the middle of the bay for just over an hour and then the sea doo had to take us back. The sea doo went too fast and we got to the dock 20 minutes early. Not only did we not get the experience we paid for, but we didn’t even get the full two hours. Their excuse to this was “it didn’t look like we wanted to peddle anyways” which is pretty insulting. I sent an email stating our subpar experience, but no email or acknowledgment back.

Update: Vicky contacted me back after thinking someone else had already contacted me. She was very apologetic for my group's experience and stated they will learn from their mistakes. I do believe we caught them on a bad day. She did make up for it and I will hopefully try them...

This was such a fun experience and absolutely great value for the money! The boat will go regardless of whether everyone paddles but it was nice to have the option of some movement vs. sitting still the whole time. Beautiful views of the bay and our driver was funny and pointed out some interesting landmarks. He also stopped the boat for a few minutes so those of us who wanted to could jump off and swim around which was very refreshing! Bluetooth speaker on board so you can play whatever music you'd like and the small but clean restroom on board came in handy as well. The BYOB was great because everyone was able to bring exactly what they wanted to drink. We were with a bachelorette party (great activity for that!) and they were a blast. I'd definitely...
