Vita, the sales agent who assisted me was very unprofessional. She was assisting other people when I came in, and instead of allowing another person to assist me with my purchase she was going back and forth like a headless chicken essentially not helping anyone. She made a comment about how my husband wouldn’t fit in the recliner, which is not for him to being with, I had let her know it was so I could rock my baby to sleep. I became frustrated as I was on a time crunch and just needed to submit payment so I asked another person for assistance. She then came over and made it a point to the person who was actually helping that this was her sale, even tho I had done my own research online and was there just to pay for the recliner. She was standing over us literally fighting the other person actually helping I noticed online gave the option to finance the recliner and In an effort to build up my credit I brought this up to the agents, Vita was still hovering over the desk. She scoffed when I advised her I was interested in financing the recliner making me feel extremely disrespected and uncomfortable. My husband intervened and paid for half upfront and agreed to pay the rest upon delivery. However, I was still left feeling uneasy at her reaction to my request. After signing paperwork I asked her if there was a minimum amount to be able to finance as her reaction was inappropriate to my request, and she proceeded to say it’s a small amount and not necessary as the finance company would not finance such a small amount. Mind you.. it was almost $600, I could easily pay this in full I was simply wanting to build my credit. My husband then interned again as her response yet again was very judgmental and rude And advised her he works in sales and is familiar with the finance company they use and knows they will finance that amount. At that point yet another person intervened and said company policy is they don’t finance anything under $2000. I then let them know that was a more appropriate response. I strongly recommend anyone purchasing a lazy boy product to do so online, save yourself the uneasiness and unprofessional experience. I’m extremely...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by La-Z-Boy. The furniture cushions vary from so soft the chair cuddles you to a very supportive cushion good for sitting up straight. Red Robyn was a very helpful, fun salesperson. Our sense of humor was the same. We went in for a reclining loveseat and 2 recliners and left with a very comfortable reclining couch (recliner at both ends). The dimensions were almost the same. And it will fit in our living room. Now this is obvious but know you living room dimensions. We had to go home & measure . I was expecting to buy manual recliners like my parents had, but fell in love with the power wall recliners. Legs up, back recline, headrest adjustment, required for reclining & tv watching. Plus the recliners lay out flat and the tension in my back was released. Oh and did I mention the lumbar support! I can hardly wait the 4 to 6 months until they arrive. But if you want something done right you pay the money and wait for it to be built just for us. Luckily, that time allows us to save up for the second payment of half the total. Yes, be prepared to pay for half the total on the day you decide to buy. We also bought the 5 year protection plan. It covers dog damage! Not that our dogs damage furniture but....you never know. We expect this couch to last 20 years, unlike our previous less expensive...
Read moreThe shopping experience was fine! Roger was a good sales person and showed us what we wanted. The problems was Roger told us our couch will be ready by the end of January 2021 because of covid which I understand. We bought the couch on Nov 2020. The end of January has passed and we still don't have the couch. So I called customer service to ask what is going on. She said oh you never paid the full amount so that's why there is a delay on your sofa. Which I thought was weird because Roger told us that he will call us and charge the whole amount. So we paid the full amount and the customer service lady told us ok, since you paid in full you have to wait another 2 weeks and they give you a call to deliver the couch. 3 weeks goes by and still no couch. I'm getting pretty frustrated getting the round around. So I decide to call customer service again to see what is going on. Now customer service is telling me I have to wait another 4 weeks because of the delay of covid and my couch is still being process. I totally understand things are slow and difficult to work around covid, I get it. It's just frustrating that the first customer service lady didn't tell me I have to wait another 4 week to receive my sofa. I don't understand why can't they tell me at first that I have to wait longer. I'm starting to think I will never receive...
