We went to the kebab shop yesterday, on my birthday, and it was better than I remembered. I used to go to this place, back when I would take the trolley to Mission Valley, to work out, and I used to get the Doner wrap. Yesterday, I ventured out and got a plate. It had the meat of my choice and two sides, for 14 dollars, plus tax, which is comparable to other kebab places. My Doner thigh was seasoned well and was a little dry, but other than that, it was good. My parents got the chicken breast kebab, and that was way better. For my sides, I got the kale and couscous salad and the pita and Hummus. Let's just say they pack the plate full of yummy goodness. You get your money's worth. The reason I gave the service four stars was only because of the wait time. We waited a long time to get our food, and given the fact that it was so busy, it is understandable. That was really my only complaint. The music was good. The cashiers were very friendly and even didn't get overly annoyed when I kept going back to the counter, to ask for a to go container, and then again because my mother forgot to ask for a container for the Hummus. I was like, even I get annoyed at me, sometimes, but I digress. We live out of the mission Valley area, but this place was worth the drive. Will definitely be back to spend more...
Read moreI came here with my family to try the Shawarma. We ordered chicken shawarma. I was very disappointed about the taste. No any flavor in the chicken 🍗 , the salad no any flavor in veggies 🥗look like a rubber bands . No any salt or black pepper . The French fries 🍟 the same . Guys please put some little salt, little powder garlic and will be bomba french fries, how you guys serving no any flavor. The garlic sauce it’s like a water so liquid. And when you spread the ingredients in side the wrap please put them to be proportionate, when you bite to get from all the ingredients, not the rice in the bottom, the veggies in the top and chicken in the middle somewhere. It’s very dry in side . The guy who was making wrap Shawarma was not using gloves , what a hell . Recommend you guys to get a steam floor cleaner service, the floor it’s so sticky, no good . I took a pictures to that guys with no gloves.
I’m from Europe , o my grandma how flavored it’s the shawarma in there , if you ask Sharma with everything inside my goodness, this is bombastic flavor Shawarma , and they wrap it so well and after they put on the press grill and it’s flat wrap bread it’s crunchy. Go in Romania , in Moldova go in Germany...
Read moreGood food, noisy atmosphere. I've eaten twice at the Mission Valley location, both times very satisfied with food and the service of the staff. They have always been smiling and friendly. They maintain the cleanliness of dining area when ever and restrooms efficiently. I enjoy the plate with two sides, (usually choosing two salads). My friend got the chicken from the skewer (schwarma) and I got the lamb and beef. We shared a side of the falafels. The order of falafels is large enough for a meal on its own, so there was plenty to share. I only gave four stars because of the noise level. Cement floors, and corrugated steel wall coverings amplify the voices and the kitchen noise, encouraging people to speak even louder to be heard by the person sitting opposite them, sharing their conversation with anyone nearby. Most of the tables are large (with six chairs) sometimes occupied by only two diners, so seating is limited. The outdoor seating is my preferred place to sit but the area is not as well maintained since it is a shared space. They do participate in food delivery apps such as Grub Hub. (I'm not affiliated with any of them.) I will...
