My wife and I both have celiac disease, a severe gluten allergy, along with a few other food allergies. Navigating our dietary restrictions can be challenging, and Tender Greens initially seemed like a promising option for us due to their willingness to accommodate modifications.

We began using a third party app to place orders, hoping to enjoy safe, gluten-free meals. However, our experience took a frustrating turn when we received meals with bread included from time to time. Unfortunately, resolving these issues through the third party was a hassle, leaving us with meals we couldn't eat. To avoid further complications, we switched to ordering directly through the Tender Greens website. Thankfully, on the rare occasions when issues arose with bread in our orders, the problem was promptly corrected.

To clarify, we never sought refunds, just a simple correction so we could enjoy our meals. In the past month, we have invested a significant amount, ordering hundreds of dollars' worth of food, particularly during our recent move, which made cooking at home more challenging.

Today, we placed an order, and when it arrived, it contained bread. Disappointing, but we were prepared to deal with it. I called the restaurant, and the person who answered the phone was anything but helpful. She not only insinuated that I was being dishonest but did so in a curt and dismissive manner. Frustrated, we decided to drive to the restaurant to address the issue in person.

Upon arrival, the individual who assisted me exhibited a similar lack of professionalism. She snatched our food and walked it over to the kitchen line, all the while glaring at me. Another staff member brought the remade order, and when I asked why we were being treated so poorly when it was evident that the presence of bread was not our fault, and we were not seeking free meals, she simply shrugged and offered no explanation.

We understand that errors can occur, and we are willing to accept that. However, the unprofessional and discourteous treatment we received, even after making the effort to drive to the location, is entirely unacceptable. Regrettably, this experience has led us to the decision to take our business elsewhere. We will also be advising our friends and business associates to do the same.

My delivery order placed through the Tender Greens site was taking a long time to update after the restaurant received the order. After calling to get an ETA, I spoke to someone who was really clueless and said only a manager could help me track the order. After waiting 9 minutes for a manager, "Marjorie" came on the line and she didn't know what she was doing with the system. She seemed to be learning it as she was trying to assist me. She then goes "uh-oh" and I immediately get a text on my phone that my order was all of a sudden cancelled. She clearly cancelled my in progress order and tried to convince me otherwise. When I asked her what was going on and she acted like she had no idea that she cancelled my order. Then she finally tells me, there were no drivers so it was cancelled. Riiight. The order was still in progress and never updated to reflect that it was ready to be assigned to a driver. She told me that I could replace the order. I told her if it would be expedited since she wrongly cancelled it and said, "no, but there will be a delay now" like that was any better. After placing a 2nd order and getting my delivery after two hours, the salmon was fishy, cold/bland and the special instructions were not followed. I normally love Tender Greens but every time I order from this location there’s always something missing/wrong. My meal was clearly prepared with zero care. There's no way (I hope not) that I would have been served a plate like this if it were in house. What really sucked is how no one at the restaurant tried to rectify the situation.
