Adventure Water Sports — Local services in San Diego

We rented the 24' ski boat on 8-19-23. The older blonde lady at the checkout counter was just flat rude. She'll school you like a fifth grader and I run a multi million dollar company. When I challenged her attitude she again put me in my place. Rather than telling her to go pound sand, I bit my tongue and just thanked her for the opportunity to do business with them. Then they take you out o the dock and start pointing at bodies of water out of site behind islands in in restricted areas. No one would have any idea of what they were talking about unless you had powered a boat prior all of the bay. I just said sounds great, got it. Jumped in and went. Super great experience, they went above and beyond to accommodate for us! It was raining the day I had booked and within hours of my scheduled time I was able to call and switch my booking. I got to come the next day instead and enjoy the sunshine and I was charged no additional fee for the last minute change. Then on the day of my new appointment, I was given flexible hours that I could come and rent depending on what time worked best for me - so awesome. Granted, this is mid-January and they were not very busy so this likely wouldn't have been the case during peak summer time, but with great customer service like that I would come back at any time of year! We stayed on Mission beach and were within walking distance of the Dana Hotel and Adventure Water Sports. We showed up a half hour early, as requested, which was really necessary to fill out all the forms and watch the video. The instructor spent a little time explaining how NOT to get ticketed by the lifeguards in the bay and marina. We rented two Waverunners, which ran flawlessly. And fast. The return process was easy. They helped load the Waverunners back onto the ports, which was a relief. Temperatures in February were only in the mid 60's, but I would do it again. There was hardly anybody else in our way.
