Queens Hair Studio by Lorena — Local services in San Diego

She was very friendly and everything was fine except for the price she charged at the end. It was very overpriced. I only got a haircut, only split ends haircut. It was $75.00 plus tip. I always tip when I get a service, I honestly felt cheated on the price but I still left 15% which brought my total to $86.25 Just for a haircut. I initially wanted to go to fashion valley mall, there is a very nice hair salon there, but I didn’t because I thought it would have been expensive base on the location and salon pictures and reviews. It turns out they would have charged me $40.00 I went to ask them personally while I was there shopping. So I am not going back to this place ever again, she could have gained a new customer but because she abuse the fact that I did not asked the price before I got the service, instead she lost me as a new repeating customer. This was the most expensive hair cut I got in my life. Not worth it. So I’m not saying don’t go there, I’m only saying ASK FOR THE PRICE BEFOREHAND lol

No I did not had an appointment. I messaged you the owner on Instagram, then I called this number on your website, you picked up and told me to come in. So you took me as a walk-in. I remembered specifically you were on your way to do a personal errand but you said it was fine and stayed to provide the service.

I also remember we got in to the salon from the side door, front door was locked, and the salon was getting renovations done in the back.

I do have a cc bank statement with fee amount and date from your salon, and a text message from you on the same day with a link to provide a review here on google, but I don’t think that really matters, unless you want me to be...

I don't typically write reviews yet feel the need to highly recommend Lorena at Queens hair salon. Her attention to detail and the overall customer service she provides is second to none. Whether you need a cut , color, highlights, etc. she's your go to girl!! I have never been disappointed. Lorena is quite skilled , friendly and takes the time to listen and deliver exactly what you're looking for .I have turned to Queens Salon for all my hair care needs over the past year, and each and every time leave feeling she has exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful experience with Lorena! I have come to her about couples times already and she always recommends the best for my hair: it is clear that her skills are at a very high level and she knows exactly what she is talking about. When I first went to her my hair was a mess (from another salon) they did an awful job for me and when they wanted to fix it it was worse and she got me back on track! She always makes great recommendations for home styling products and I think her prices are very reasonable.
