My daughter found this place through Google and even though we were in La Jolla, we just had to drive south to try a Gelateria with 4.9 stars. First and foremost, the gelato itself is simply out of this world. The flavors were rich, creamy, and bursting with taste. I highly recommend trying their peanut butter gelato; you won't be disappointed. However, what truly sets this place apart is the impeccable service we received. I must give a special shoutout to the gentleman who served us. His patience and attentiveness were truly commendable. My daughter, bless her indecisive heart, wanted to sample almost every flavor, and he happily obliged, offering her a taste of nearly every option. His friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond made our visit truly memorable. Reading through other reviews, I noticed that Klaudio, the owner, is often praised for his excellent gelato and kindness. While I didn't have the opportunity to meet him personally, I would like to extend my compliments to him for not only creating fantastic gelato but also for training his staff to provide such exceptional service. I've been a huge fan of Milkissimo Gelato since it first opened. Klaudio's friendly nature lured me over to try a sample of his gelato and I was absolutely hooked after that. I came by every few weeks to buy a quart of his refreshing lemon gelato to have at home whenever I wanted. Eventually I started taking my then boyfriend there and after he tried the gelato he was obsessed. Flash forward a few years later we got engaged and probably one of the first decisions we made was to hire Milkissimo to cater at our wedding. Klaudio and his team did such an amazing job at our wedding and their set up was so beautiful. Our venue didn't have a freezer, so Klaudio was kind enough to take the two left over quarts of gelato that was left over back to his shop so that we could pick it up in the morning. Our guests absolutely loved the gelato, and we got so many compliments after the wedding. This place just warms my heart every single time I go to mission valley. Every single worker is so amazing and kind hearted and that’s what keeps me coming back. On top of that the gelato is amazing & to die for ! Ughhh so yummy! Last night I stopped by after a rough experience at yard house and John completely changed my mood. Literally wish I could give him a hug. You never know what someone is going through and he made my night.💕 I tried the amaretto cookie and the birthday cake for the first time and they were sooooo good. I couldn’t pick so I got half and half. I got a small but babyyyyy I should’ve got a large ! 10/10 recommend.
