Comics N Stuff — Local services in San Diego

Went to look for magic the gathering cards. Found them but they were behind the counter. I looked to see if there was any signs or anything saying not to enter however there wasn't. So i went behind the counter to get a closer look at what cards they had in stock as well as how much they were charging. After about 5 minutes of looking a worker came by and said "you can't be back here it's a work space". I apologized and went back to the front of the counter. The worker moved a box behind the counter to block the walkway that lead to the back where the cards were. There wasnt any way for me to notice the box. He then asked if there was anything he could help me with and I just asked if there was any way to talk down the prices on the cards since they were charging $50+ on commander decks worth maybe 40. Rather than simply saying no or being polite He said can you haggle at target. And obviously no target is a national chain of stores where as this place is a store in a mall over charging for what they have. Needless to say after the disrespect me and my wife left and won't...

I’d give this place 5 stars if your staff was not so rude. I’ve been many times to Comics N Stuff in the past few months to buy pokemon cards and your products are varied and well priced, which is great. However, there’s two specific staff workers who make you feel not welcomed and uncomfortable. These people are just sitting looking at their phone, they see you and they do not welcome you, and you can be there , standing and they won’t ask if you need help. I asked one of them for help in a cordial way and their reply was “with what?” And seriously their face expression was miserable and upsetting. I do not expect to be treated like loyalty, but these personnel should learn to be a bit more respectful or welcoming to customers. I honestly do not feel like going thinking I’m gonna have to run to these people. There’s been other staff that are friendly though. Just saying… Good store and...

Always has so much stuff to look at and the staff are friendly enough. I have been to better stores from this chain but its a Comics n stuff, Bare minimum and I believe someday they will find the proper location in this mall and not bounce around every year, though thats not really an issue. The one thing everyone knows and I don't need to say it much, prices are all marked up, nothing costs what it should but I guess they gotta make money somewhere. It feels like if I wanted an 18 dollar marvel legend I can get most of them without inflated prices almost anywhere else, unless I go here. In this case they are $26, same story with just about everything I am interested within their store. That being said, you might find what you are looking for and it's a fun looking store so go...
